Wow, we are the little rally that could like the little train... I think I can, I think I can and now look where we are! Awesome! Is it time to start a conversation on a a schedule and suggestions on communal meals? There was a conversation on a breakfast but not sure what else has been discussed. if we have some suggestions, I will put together an itinerary to post in a common area. Friday afternoon/evening everyone will be arriving and setting up so an easy potluck of food and beverages...

Ann - I believe that this calendar thread confuses everyone. If you get a moment maybe you could copy-n-paste your post above into a post in the main rally thread? Hi Allen/Allenc, Welcome to LOA and glad to hear that you are going to join us! This rally will be a great place for you to gain some good knowledge about your new 2285. Let me know how many nights you will be staying. For now I will put down 2 nights until you confirm. This thread that you have posted in is the calendar thread which is fine, but it also is sort of a goofy thread that doesn't show up in "Recent" posts or discussions on the main LOA forum page so posts can get lost or missed...

Sounds good John! Looking forward to meeting Clare as well. I'm not sure, but I think WoodGlue (4 nights) might be arriving on Thursday as well. That or a Tuesday departure. Here's another late addition Jeff. Originally thought we weren't going to be able to make it but we rescheduled some things and would love to attend if it's OK? We plan to arrive Friday (before dark and hopefully get a spot) and Depart Sunday morning. We'll bring some deserts for the potluck and Alice and I will be accompanied by our long haired Chihuahua, Sarah Marie. This really sounds like a lot of fun and we're looking forward to meeting everybody and checking out all the other Lances.

You know what... Even though we're a small and intimate group and I know everyones name, I feel a name tag is in order. It was suggested in another post for another rally that a name and also the LOA user name be included. I now believe Jumbo Jet is Jim. I'll have to confirm.

Wow, I just did a run down on the sites reserved for our informal get together: 107,108,110,111,114,116,117,118,119 It's going to be cool to see so many Lance campers in this section. I think I need to do a special event t-shirt for this. I'll post it when I get it done. :-) This is the start of our camping season for us, just when the Phoenix area is heating up so we are REALLY looking forward to meeting everyone! Rob

The time sounds good for happy hour. We just got back from woods canyon. They do allow propane firepits. If you have one, they give you a sign for your site post saying you have one

Bummer, things always come up when you least expect it. My wife and I go up every month for about 5 days starting on this trip in June. It’s how we beat the heat in Phoenix... i’ll Post our next trip this weekend. Since it is so close to the valley the sites get booked up quickly. Fall could be a really nice trip with the colores changing. These was someone who was coming up and didn’t have a reservation. I would hook up with them and see if they can reserve it just after you cancel. Think...

We are going unless the forest gets shut down, at this point it doesn’t look likely but if there is another big fire in the area between now and then it could change. Everyone that’s going, please keep an eye on this page. I’ll post an update just before we head up on Wednesday afternoon or if anything changes that could impact this trip. Wow, I’m sitting here on the last night of the Woods Canyon Lake trip and thinking I don’t want to go back the the valley. Met some truly great people, laughed a lot, got a lot of photos to be posed here. Thanks to everyone that made the trip. Without all of you the memories wouldn’t be the same. I mentioned in another post that Marcia and I plan to attend. However, we'll probably arrive on the 16th and have to depart sometime on the 18th or early 19th because of a planned Hangar party on the east coast of NC on the 20th. It's about 500 miles across mountainous NC.
