A patent pending High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material allows for a rigid core for strength while offering surface friction to the carpet, as well as tactile feel to the surface! Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir with further channeling to help minimize fluid movement while driving! Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill. No muss-no fuss!
The rear FloorLiner incorporates many of the same design features as the front FloorLiner and (where offered) is manufactured from a proprietary custom blended TPO (thermopolyolefin) that is not only wear resistant, but also remains flexible under extreme temperatures. The Rear FloorLiner is either one piece or two pieces depending on the vehicle application.
MY EXPERIENCE:
I recently purchased a new truck, a 2018 Ram 2500 Big Horn Mega Cab, and after shelling out some major bucks, I decided that I wanted to protect my investment by looking into a higher quality floor mat. After scouring the internet I came across WeatherTech FloorLiners. I liked the total protection that they offered by covering the entire floor including the console hump. I should mention they make and design the WeatherTech FloorLiners for all makes and model vehicles.
I ordered them directly form the manufacturer and received them after about three weeks. I was immediately impressed by the quality, thickness and exact fit they had to my interior. The mats extended to all contours of the carpet and matched the carpet color perfectly.
I had them for about one week when my three year old spilt a juice in the back seat. The liquid landed on the floor and stayed on the mats. It did not leak outside the lipped edges. I could not be happier with the protection WeatherTech Floorliners offers. I’ve had them installed for about two months now and when I lift them up, the carpet looks brand new. I would agree they are on the pricier side at $230.00 for a complete set but may be worth their weight in gold if they can help with resale in about 10 years or so. Despite a high price, I would recommend them for protecting your tow vehicles interior. Looks great, fits perfect, lifetime warranty, works likes it supposed to and passed the kid test.
