FROM THE MANUFACTURER:

The WeatherTech FloorLiner accurately and completely lines the interior carpet giving "absolute interior protection"!  The WeatherTech FloorLiner lines the interior carpet up the front, back and even up the sides of the 2018 RAM 2500/3500 vehicle’s footwell.  Digital laser measurements of interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit!

A patent pending High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material allows for a rigid core for strength while offering surface friction to the carpet, as well as tactile feel to the surface! Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir with further channeling to help minimize fluid movement while driving!  Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.  No muss-no fuss!

The rear FloorLiner incorporates many of the same design features as the front FloorLiner and (where offered) is manufactured from a proprietary custom blended TPO (thermopolyolefin) that is not only wear resistant, but also remains flexible under extreme temperatures. The Rear FloorLiner is either one piece or two pieces depending on the vehicle application.

MY EXPERIENCE:

I recently purchased a new truck, a 2018 Ram 2500 Big Horn Mega Cab, and after shelling out some major bucks, I decided that I wanted to protect my investment by looking into a higher quality floor mat.  After scouring the internet I came across WeatherTech FloorLiners.  I liked the total protection that they offered by covering the entire floor including the console hump.  I should mention they make and design the WeatherTech FloorLiners for all makes and model vehicles.

I ordered them directly form the manufacturer and received them after about three weeks.  I was immediately impressed by the quality, thickness and exact fit they had to my interior.  The mats extended to all contours of the carpet and matched the carpet color perfectly.

I had them for about one week when my three year old spilt a juice in the back seat.  The liquid landed on the floor and stayed on the mats.  It did not leak outside the lipped edges.  I could not be happier with the protection WeatherTech Floorliners offers.  I’ve had them installed for about two months now and when I lift them up, the carpet looks brand new.  I would agree they are on the pricier side at $230.00 for a complete set but may be worth their weight in gold if they can help with resale in about 10 years or so.  Despite a high price, I would recommend them for protecting your tow vehicles interior.  Looks great, fits perfect, lifetime warranty, works likes it supposed to and passed the kid test.

Spam?  I'm not sure what spam you are receiving but I don't think it came from my product review post.  Can you send me a link or image of what you are receiving so I can take it down.

Spam is typically an indiscriminate email sent to large number of recipients or an irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent/posted on the Internet.  If you feel my product review is inappropriate, please let me know what I can do to change it.  I am trying to do honest product reviews for LOAers and have no intention of offending anyone.

It’s how it comes across the smaller screen of an iPhone. The Mfg info is all up front and looks like an advertisement. It takes a LOT of scrolling to get to the review portion.

I had to look at it on the computer to see the review part easily.

Got it.  Thanks for replying and clarifying.  I like pictures and wanted to include images of the product but I have not viewed them on a phone.  I will definitely take that advise into consideration on my future posts.

I opted to go with the Husky liners. My Tundra came with a set of Weather Techs but the ones in the back didn't fit right so I had to get a new set of something anyway. I like the Huskys better as they aren't as hard and slippery as the WTs.

Since you owned both Husky and WetherTech, was there a difference in quality or thickness?  I’ve never seen the Huskys in person but am curious how they compare to WeatherTech.  Thanks, Jeff

Yes, the Huskys are thicker and are also a ribbed design meaning there's more room for dirt and gravel. They are also more flexible and are easier to remove and install. The material is softer and just feels better, especially when I'm in my socks or barefoot. They get great reviews on Amazon.

Agree. I've had both as well, starting with Huskys  in our '97 Explorer. I had WeatherTechs in my '09 F-150. They started to curl in and loose their fit. I went back to Husky for the '17 F-50.

I agree, the Weather Tech do cover and protect good, but are kinda slippery. Next time around I think I’ll shop for something more rubbery.

We only have the smaller Weather Tech ones that fit only in the footwells and don’t cover the transmission hump. The driver side stays put cuz it snaps in place, however the passenger side doesn't have snaps and kinda moves around on the carpet and has to be repositioned occasionally........another reason to look for a rubbery mat the next time I buy mats cuz a rubbery may might work better to stay put.

Also, Jalapeño Spam is not really as hot as I would like it to be. I wonder if anyone else has the same opinion. I always add some additional heat with a sprinkle of some chopped up ghost peppers. Even with the added heat from ghost peppers I think the Weather Techs would stand up to survive a Jalapeño Spam attack.........., maybe. I guess I could do a test and see, but that would mean I’d have to waste some Spam and that ain’t gonna happen.

Intrigued by this thread and what Randy had to say, I checkout some reviews on Amazon. Yeah, he is right, there are tons of great reviews on Amazon. Here are two under Chevy Colorado.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Addition to my 2017 Colorado Crew Cab

"I've been buying, and I've been happy with, the other big floor liner company, but I decided to give these a try and I'm glad I did.

I bought the front and back Husky Liners for my 2017 Colorado Crew Cab. They fit PERFECTLY! Another thing I like about them over the other guys is that they aren't hard and slippery. These are softer, more flexible, provide better traction and still provide wall to wall coverage of the floor. They don't interfere with the accelerator or brake pedals and they fit partially over the door sills, too, for added protection.

The color is consistent and matches the interior of my truck perfectly. To top it all off they were less money and they're Made in the USA.

Great product and highly recommended."

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST FLOOR LINERS / MATS by far.

"Wanting excellent floor mats? These are the brand to buy. Use to buy Weathertech and Husky Liners are much better.

Weathertech brand is a hard plastic material with "no give". Husky Liners are rubber product, fit perfectly. It's difficult to explain but imagine having a hard plastic material on the floor in comparison to a fitted rubber material with give. Both are about same price but Husky by far is a better product in my opinion worth buying. Weathertech has a lifetime warranty also but the flaw is your shoes / boots will catch on the mats getting into a truck and cause the mats to bend. Solution from WT is to place in front of a fireplace or get really hot, they will return to original condition....NOT....

Husky mats will cover your carpet to the edge of the floor board against door....You get what you pay for....will last a lifetime."

Husky brand all the way! The Weather Techs seem to slide around, curl, or are slippery. Husky floor liners are one of the first modifications I do to my trucks…been using them since 2007. The underside cleats for gripping the carpet are vicious, so be careful removing them when detailing the interior. Otherwise, great product!

I'm on my 2nd set of Husky Weatherbeater series floor mats for my 2018 F150.  A few weeks ago while cleaning out the truck, I noticed holes (3 to be exact) formed just below the brake pedal.

I found their website, submitted a claim, received an email a few days later where they just asked for a photo, and -shamwow- next thing I new, I received a FedEx shipment notification.  They sent a brand new front set.  These liners are great...and the company, (at least my experience) appears to have great customer service!

I did notice that they have redesigned the new mats.  The ridges were "pushed in" from the back - leaving less material to wear.  On the new mats, the bottom is flat, so I expect these to last a few more years than the original.  Lifetime warranty...always nice.
