After the 4 months that the trailer was parked for winter, 2 of the TST tire pressure sensor caps did not register pressures. Thanks to the manual I had bought sensor batteries year ago. Sounded easy, unscrew little screws replace battery replace cap protector and they would sync themselves. How many of us carry a 00 Phillips head screwdriver? Ran to Tractor supply, got the protective caps removed, screws out battery replaced and the O rings (makes the internal sensor waterproof) completed fell apart after 4 years. Replaced it without the O ring and called TST the next day.
We had “first generation” cap sensors with the little screws “. Since we did not receive the replacement pack of O rings, stems, screws , and OO screwdriver when we bought it. They referred me to TechnoRV that service their products. $12 later we will have them when we get home.
Never occurred to me that there are “generations” to the products in the RV. So now it’s another learning curve….

Thanks for the reminder
Just replaced my batteries 2 weeka ago.
Buy the battery kit from the LOA store and a screw driver comes with the batteries, along with instructions. And, it help LOA.
I do have a 0 and 00 Philips screw driver, aviation tech for 40 years. If Snap On made it I have it.

That is a little disappointing that TST did not refer you to the LOA store. We are a preferred dealer of the TST products and we even have our own custom battery replacement kits that come with everything you need. We even sell them as a 4 pack or 5 pack if you have a monitored spare. We also use only Duracell batteries. Maybe next time you replace them. If you ever want to upgrade your sensors, we have those too. Either way... I am glad you got it handled.
@Eric dye I was bummed that they referred me out , because the customer service was very poor for TechnoRV. I called 4 times and was placed on hold in one hour so left a voice mail, chat mail, and email message to Techno RV. I got a response from the voicemail. I’d rather stay with in the family!which is where I bought it to begin with. Unaware you did customer service after warranty expiration.
good heads up!
Instead of changing sensor batteries every year, I decided to see how long the batteries would last.
I installed six 507 sensors upon taking delivery of my F450 in April 2019…….., so it’s been 3 years and 40,000 miles on the same set of batteries. All is well, no low sensor battery indication on the monitor and no lost communication.
I’m chicken, I went 2 years with my TireMinder once but since the batteries are free, not postage, I replace them when they inform me it’s time to order batteries.

Eric: does the LOA store sell a 5-cap system? I couldn’t find it through the link you included.

Looks like LOA does not currently stock 5 cap systems…
maybe new item or special order?

(Editing my earlier response) There is now a 5 Sensor replacement Kit. The per sensor price is the same as the 4 Sensor Kit but with 5 Sensors.
