Since the video starts with the cabins and sites 1,2, 3...., you may want to fast forward approx. 6 min. into the video to get to site 60 or so. There is no sound associated with this video. Looks like I'm the first one back from the Oregon Rally. We were only 4 hours drive from the Rally. Wife and I met a bunch of great folks that I would camp with again in heartbeat. Chuck and Patti were fantastic host at this event. I would like say many thanks to WoodGlue for allowing us to use her site. Initially we had reserved in the F loop which would have put us so far that it would have been like camping alone. These loops are not joined at all, sometimes some loops are close, but not...

We regret that we will not be able to attend the get-together in July. Wesley's appointment with a new oncologist has been moved up from early August, and we will be flying out of state for the appointment. Perhaps we will have the pleasure of meeting with you in the future.

I attended the First Annual Texas Truck Camper Rally at Inks Lake State Park last year and can confirm that PJ and her crew at Princess Craft put on one fine rally. They had raffles, an excellent BBQ, a live band with dancing under the stars, coffee in the mornings and a couple of informal camper maintenance seminars. They also had a camper open house. As soon as I was informed about the date and place of the upcoming rally I signed up and am looking forward to attending.

if I may try to help people attend the rally, be advised that the loop is full, and there is no longer a waiting list being held by the organizer. From this point on, it is up to individuals to act quickly if and when a site comes available because of a cancellation. Fortunately, there is a feature on ReserveAmerica where they will notify by email, all who request to be so advised if there is a cancellation. ReserveAmerica will email simultaneously, all who have asked for this to happen.

Don't forget that Nebraska requires a state permit to camp, fish, and hunt. Permits are valid through 12/31/2017. I purchased mine at: https://ngpc-permits.ne.gov/NG...faces/public/welcome Permit prices are lower for Nebraska plated vehicles.

Hi Susan. I'm the first to see this so I will respond. Chuck, the rally master, will reply also, I'm sure. First thing you need to do is make reservations at South Beach State Park. Once you have your site go into the SCIO discussion page (see link above) and inform Chuck which site you have. Then, just show up. It's a great rally. To All SCIO Campers 5-1-2020 Here is the Latest update from Oregon State Parks as of 4 - 30 - 2020 The state park closure will be extended past May 8. There is no date for opening day-use at any state park. State park camping and day-use reservations have been cancelled from May 8 through and including May 25. NEW INFORMATION: The 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering will meet in the Oak Bluff Campground at Ponca State Park in northeast Nebraska. This is a beautiful area of rolling hills, forest, and cropland along the Missouri River. The Oak Bluff Campground is well shaded and protected from wind. The sites are relatively close together, so we will be able to go between them easily. You're gonna have a ball... During the 2016 gathering, Marcia, @acmaintainer and I were in group camping. And, except for personal generators, Group camping is boondocking. Some others had regular sites with power, water and maybe sewer. For us though, it is about a 2200 mile trip, one way. But, the rally was not all we did. We went further into CA because the friend we had in tow , @setters wanted to put another state on his map.
