Mike and Kari, thanks for making the trip. Hope to see you guys next year, I want to go on one of your morning walk-abouts... I think you had the right idea! Great back lit shot Kari, love the baby elk pic, never gets old. Our next door neighbors took their inflatable boat to the lake this morning and saw a femal go into the lake and bathe for about 20min.... i’d Kill to get photos of that!!! Next time you guys. Rob

Maybe next year... Because of recent back surgery, we're getting off to a late start this year and are contemplating being at Cape Breton NS during that October time frame.

We have 3 large (sorta) dogs, but we have guests with dogs camping here all the time and never had a problem. They are very friendly with man and beast.

To ALL Here is a current update of the planed schedule of things and what is planed also a list of those that have said they will be joining us , a list of there arrival and departure dates and 2 links for the area so you can see some of what there is to do the reason for the change in the schedule is so that all will be there and can take part in the evening fun. as you can see from the arrival and departure dates the day that we all will be there is Sat. hope it works for all of you Long...

Such a great time! Everyone, and I truly mean everyone, was as fabulous as you would expect. I'll post all of my thoughts on that in the appropriate after-party thread when it shows itself. However, I need to discuss trains, raccoons, coyotes, & lions. Yep, you read that right - raccoons. So after 2 nights in a tent I actually got used to the continuous sounds of trains, coyotes, & lions, but this morning at 5:10 when I crawled out of my tent to start loading my car for the drive...
