1st Annual Door County Color Gathering

Door County, WI

First Annual Door County Color Gathering

As I was sitting in my yard last weekend, admiring the gorgeoous colors that were surrounding me, I thought, “I would really like to share this with the LOA members. Maybe I could start a rally?”

So, Let's Do This!

I want to plan a small gathering for the first annual Door County adventure. We can hold it right in my yard. We live in the woods, which right now looks like a magical, golden snowglobe. Here are the details. Please message me if you are interested.

Where:

Egg Harbor, WI.That is about ½ way up the “thumb” of Wisconsin. We have several electric/water hookups, as well as lots of room for boondocking. We do not have a dump area, but I can tell you where to find them if needed.

When:

October 10-14th, 2019

The colors will be at peak and we have a local “ Pumpkin Patch Festival”

in the village, 5 miles away, ifpeople are interested in attendingthat.

Hosts:

Lorie and Lee Torbeck

Trailmasters

Lifetime Members

Freeloaders

We can fit 15-20 campers, so make your reservations early!

Maybe next year... Because of recent back surgery, we're getting off to a late start this year and are contemplating being at Cape Breton NS during that October time frame.

Marcia @acmaintainer and I sorta talked about going after we cancelled our plans of attending the Cape Breton Island NS Celtic Music Fest. Several truck problems have us turning south now.

LEE AND LORIE-

As a pure coincidence, we will be at Peninsula State Park, just up the road from you, on 9 & 10 October.  If your event is still on, we would like to stop by and visit with everyone.

Time is getting closer for the gathering... We plan to leave to leave Colorado in a few days....  Looking forward to getting together and enjoying Wi...  Hoping it is still a go and is there any thing we need to know B/4 leaving home???  At some point will need a address....  Blessings Jim/Irene.   Kodiak K-99

Is your place REALLY, REALLY large dog friendly?
I can't go anywhere without my beast.
See - she already has her winter wardrobe.

We have 3 large (sorta) dogs, but we have guests with dogs camping here all the time and never had a problem. They are very friendly with man and beast.

We are excited to be hosting our first rally. If you want to be added to the roster, please message me with your names, rig type-including approximate length, and whether you need hookups.

We look forward to meeting new friends.

We are considering your gathering. Our youngest son's birthday is the 14th of October and we usually celebrate it with him. He and his wife live in Slinger,WI not far to your south. It could very well work out!

We would love to have you! Keep us updated. 😉
