Had a nice, relaxing trip up to Collins Lake this weekend. The lake level was down and the weather was cool but the DW limited out on trout (as usual)! Met up with Loanshark and friends (really nice folks). Compared notes on our Lance trailers and overall had a very relaxing weekend. Truly wish we could make it to the Northern CA LAO rally in January but, due to prior commitments, we won't be able to. Did see one other Lance TC at Collins and a couple on the road on the way home.

Hello, My husband & I just purchased our Lance Camper 1191 this weekend and have recently become LOA members! This forum stuff is all new to me, but I'll give it a shot! Anyways, I was excited to see that there will be a rally in January 2014 at Lake Solano Park.. this is great because it's near where we live! The only bad thing is that we have a conflict in the dates. I work in the sales industry and I'll be away at a trade show. Although we have friends that we always go camping with...

Wow, we are the little rally that could like the little train... I think I can, I think I can and now look where we are! Awesome! Is it time to start a conversation on a a schedule and suggestions on communal meals? There was a conversation on a breakfast but not sure what else has been discussed. if we have some suggestions, I will put together an itinerary to post in a common area. Friday afternoon/evening everyone will be arriving and setting up so an easy potluck of food and beverages...

Hi Engunir, The rally will probably only have Lance owners and anyone else who is interested in Lance are always welcome to stop by or camp with us! We don't have any vendors scheduled, but they're always welcome. Our knowledge base is pretty experienced, so if you or any attendees have any questions we are always there to answer any questions. To date, we have a whale watching trip planned and then there are always wine tasting trips, potluck dinners and such. We also plan on driving at...

We took a little ride to the Rim today, got some great photos! Although the Aspen CG is closed, the trails are open and we hiked around CG and Lake. Lots of fishing going on today! Not sure if anyone caught any. Ran into a small herd of young elk, the girls had fun. Our campsites look great! Lots of shade! Here’s a few pics of our view.

I live in Payson AZ . Just drove my Jeep up to woods canyon and willow lake and drove the 300 rim road yesterday. Everything is pretty dry . Thanks to Galvanizd for posting this. We have found that during fire restriction times we were still able to use our portable fire pit with lava rock and propane. Not sure if that will be allowed given the extreme dry conditions right now. Hope for rain before June 6-12 rolls around. Really looking forward to meeting everyone! We would like to plan a nightly happy hour at 5:30pm, at out site 117. This gives everyone time to eat then come relax for an hour or two with their favorite beverage.

I arrived in Mesa a bit after 1pm. When I hooked up to electricity, everything is working great - except the refrigerator. I've run some checks with the help of Rick at Lance Service and it looks like I have a circuit board failure. I phoned Tom's Camperland and they will not work on a unit that wasn't sold by them! Bad on Tom's Camperland!!!! And Camping World would have to order the part - a three week wait! Looks like I'll be heading back to Yuma tomorrow morning. If anybody wants to come...

Wow, sorry to hear that... I'm surprised about Tom's, we have been going there for years and they always take care of us. I would think warranty work no matter where the rig came from would not be an issue! I'll have to find out what their policy is. CALL ME 480-250-5332 Got 2 good repair companies here in the valley that work on Lance and do warranty repairs. Rob and Jayne, I want to thank you both for organizing a wonderful getaway for us Arizona Lance Owners. Woods Canyon Lake is now going to be a recurring trip for us. Wow, I’m sitting here on the last night of the Woods Canyon Lake trip and thinking I don’t want to go back the the valley. Met some truly great people, laughed a lot, got a lot of photos to be posed here. Thanks to everyone that made the trip. Without all of you the memories wouldn’t be the same. I attended the First Annual Texas Truck Camper Rally at Inks Lake State Park last year and can confirm that PJ and her crew at Princess Craft put on one fine rally. They had raffles, an excellent BBQ, a live band with dancing under the stars, coffee in the mornings and a couple of informal camper maintenance seminars. They also had a camper open house. As soon as I was informed about the date and place of the upcoming rally I signed up and am looking forward to attending.

We have never attended a rally before and don't know what to expect. Is there a schedule of events? Any seminars? Meal plans? Are we free to attend attractions in the area or do we need to be on site most of the time? I have made reservations for three couples today to camp at the the White Oak Campground for the days of the rally.

The rally schedule/ events list will be out soon. We usually have a hamburger/hotdog cook out a morning breakfast cookout, a pot luck dinner and raffle the last evening. Along with that we have (weather permitting) nightly campfires “ meet ,greet and socializing! More coming soon

Hi Susan. I'm the first to see this so I will respond. Chuck, the rally master, will reply also, I'm sure. First thing you need to do is make reservations at South Beach State Park. Once you have your site go into the SCIO discussion page (see link above) and inform Chuck which site you have. Then, just show up. It's a great rally. Also it's important you correspond via the link Chuck has posted above. That's where all the discussion will take place. Bonnie
