Had a nice, relaxing trip up to Collins Lake this weekend. The lake level was down and the weather was cool but the DW limited out on trout (as usual)! Met up with Loanshark and friends (really nice folks). Compared notes on our Lance trailers and overall had a very relaxing weekend. Truly wish we could make it to the Northern CA LAO rally in January but, due to prior commitments, we won't be able to. Did see one other Lance TC at Collins and a couple on the road on the way home.

Hello, My husband & I just purchased our Lance Camper 1191 this weekend and have recently become LOA members! This forum stuff is all new to me, but I'll give it a shot! Wow, we are the little rally that could like the little train... I think I can, I think I can and now look where we are! Awesome! Is it time to start a conversation on a a schedule and suggestions on communal meals? There was a conversation on a breakfast but not sure what else has been discussed. if we have some suggestions, I will put together an itinerary to post in a common area. Friday afternoon/evening everyone will be arriving and setting up so an easy potluck of food and beverages...

Bruce, You just missed a NorCal Rally at Lake Solano Park (near Lake Berryessa) in January! Hopefully, like the Pismo Rally, they will hold it again! WoodGlue

We took a little ride to the Rim today, got some great photos! Although the Aspen CG is closed, the trails are open and we hiked around CG and Lake. Lots of fishing going on today! Not sure if anyone caught any. Ran into a small herd of young elk, the girls had fun. Our campsites look great! Lots of shade! Here’s a few pics of our view.

Nice photos Gene.... usually there is a lot more snow than that, I hope they get a lot more before winter closes out or else it will be bone dry come June!

I live in Payson AZ . Just drove my Jeep up to woods canyon and willow lake and drove the 300 rim road yesterday. Everything is pretty dry . Thanks to Galvanizd for posting this. We have found that during fire restriction times we were still able to use our portable fire pit with lava rock and propane. Not sure if that will be allowed given the extreme dry conditions right now. Hope for rain before June 6-12 rolls around. Really looking forward to meeting everyone! We would like to plan a nightly happy hour at 5:30pm, at out site 117. This gives everyone time to eat then come relax for an hour or two with their favorite beverage.

The store at the lake has all kinds of fishing supplies. It’s not the biggest but has a lot of the most commonly used items there... Rob

Rob and Jayne, I want to thank you both for organizing a wonderful getaway for us Arizona Lance Owners. Woods Canyon Lake is now going to be a recurring trip for us. May never have found it without your invite, thanks again. So good to meet new friends and share our love of the outdoors! The grandsons got their first fish and more! All in all a super weekend. Wow, I’m sitting here on the last night of the Woods Canyon Lake trip and thinking I don’t want to go back the the valley. Met some truly great people, laughed a lot, got a lot of photos to be posed here. Thanks to everyone that made the trip. Without all of you the memories wouldn’t be the same. We had a few windy days but the temps at night were great and not too hot during the day. Loved, loved, loved the 6pm happy hour! What a great time. Our next door neighbors took their inflatable boat to the lake this morning and saw a femal go into the lake and bathe for about 20min.... i’d Kill to get photos of that!!! Next time you guys. Rob
