Trojan 30XHS 12-volt group 30 deep-cycle battery (130 AH)

Red Barchetta ·
Picked up one of these today - http://www.trojanbattery.com/product/30xhs/ With our 1575 and the way that we load it (tongue-mounted bike rack with 3 bikes & 7.5 gallon/30 lb. LP tank) we run with a single battery on the tongue. *We dry camp and have solar &/or generator's depending upon the trip so a single battery has worked well for us for almost 16 years now. Through my work I accrue points towards purchases at certain places. One of them being Battery Systems (where I only had 4...

Re: My Favorite Cheap Amazon Purchase!

looks good - I hadn't seen these before. Look like I could use a few in lots of places - been buying cheap headlamps when on lightning deals - but these would be a nice addition. I like having some headlamps for working with 2 hands and red beams for not blinding people in camp. Been buying energizer headlamps when on lightning deals. link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/produ...00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Spoke to Cheryl. She took my name & number around 4:00 pm and said she would call me back. Haven’t heard from her, so will hopefully speak to her tomorrow morning. Pamela

Hey there Pamela. Unfortunately, Cheryl was extremely tied up taking resies for this rally and the phone kept ringing to the point she was unable to return calls during that crazy period. I have put you on the waiting list and will call when something becomes available. Sorry.

Jackalope, Please accept my apology for not seeing your post earlier. I have watched the 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering thread daily, but have forgotten to watch this one. Most of the activity is on that thread. Anyway, I am glad you were able to snag that spot, and I'm looking forward to seeing you there. You may want to read what is on that thread if you have the time. It is quite lengthy. Here is a recap of the events and instructions. It's fairly loosely organized. Thursday Sept. 21:...

Re: waxing front of lance trailer

TwigPig ·
Well I owe you one... I was prepping the camper for our trip tomorrow. Just a local trip to a state park camping with my wife's family. There will be an Airstream and an Oliver there so I had to have the Lance looking sharp. I decided this evening that I would clean the front of the camper... well... I used three different cleaners, polishes, and wax and each one seemed to get worse for blotches and swirls. I was getting extremely frustrated and remembered seeing this post so I went online...

Re: BAL 23200 Foot Pads for C Jacks

R&V Spiker ·
The foot pads arrived and they are now installed. Two things I did to help make the installation easier was; using a 3/8ths drill bit, I reamed out the holes in the stab jacks so the bolts would slide through easily and I slightly bent the tabs on the foot pads so they slid easily over the stab jacks. Here's a link to the Amazon product page. Seems one could find them cheaper but those cheapies always came with an exorbitant shipping bill. https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod...00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
