I found a camp chair that is the most comfortable camp chair I have ever sat in.  STRONGBACK Guru Folding Camp Chair with Lumbar Support  The Guru is for normal stature people but for those with longer legs, the Elite is three inches taller. (I am 6' and the Guru fits me perfectly.)   What sets these chair apart is the seat is designed around the lumbar support and I do not have that sinking feeling that I have when in most of the camp chairs I have sat in.  Along with the support, I feel like I am sitting with a much better posture and I do not have to fight to stand up from sitting in it.  If you have a sore back, this is especially for you, if you don't have a sore back but want a chair that will give you comfortable support this it.

Looks really nice and comfy.  Unfortunately, I would be afraid that I would lose such a relatively expensive chair.  The only personal items I leave outside all the time while camping are my el cheapo Wal-Mart folding chairs and the $5 folding plastic table (also from Wal-Mart). If the outside furniture develops feet, it is not as painful.

I wonder that, if I put my email address on the chair that it might be less attractive because my back ain't so happy with what I have. Lucy likes her chair, though.  She's eaten both the cuphfolders on her's. Ted

StrongBack's Great Customer Service:

We got our chairs, one Elite and 1 Guru, the Saturday before Mother's Day. The DW liked the Guru but even though her measurements fit the Guru's design she preferred the feel of sitting in the Elite. As I put the Guru away I spotted a minor assembly error. I wrote StrongBack to inform them of both her preference and the minor defect. They got back to me right away and facilitated the return and the upgrade to the Elite with a private code to assure the Mother's Day discount.
