We have had ours for a while and love it unfortunately those "permanent" 3m double sided disks that mount the snaps onto the surface of the travel Trailer around the window come off after a season (in our case extreme cold and heat).

We cleaned and installed them properly; it's just the weather and temps eventually degrade the 3m disks until those plastic snaps pop off the surface when the cover is pulled off and need to be reaffixed with new double sided 3m disks.

I'm almost at the point of using something stronger than the 3m tape, something like a marine epoxy glue to affix them.

This is highly unusual.  There are many owners in AZ that have had covers and snaps on for 4+ Years with no issues.  It could be that yours had a bad batch of adhesive, especially if they all fell off.  I think autoweave may warranty the snaps.

I have also heard of this happening when the trailer was ceramic coated, waxed or other paint/fiberglass protection.  These coatings are not removed by cleaning with alcohol or other regular cleaners and the 3m tape cant stick.

Let me know if you want the LOA to help with a warranty claim.

I'll give the snap removing tool a try.  It actually may help because the snap is what is popping off without the 3m adhesive disk.  The snaps are intact.  Basically the Auto Weave cover comes off with the snaps attached and leaves the 3m disk behind still attached to the TT. Trying to reattach to the disk doesn't work, you need to clean the 3m disk off the TT body and replace it again.  Never knew there was snap lube either so I'll try both.  Thanks!
