Hi Engunir, The rally will probably only have Lance owners and anyone else who is interested in Lance are always welcome to stop by or camp with us! We don't have any vendors scheduled, but they're always welcome. Our knowledge base is pretty experienced, so if you or any attendees have any questions we are always there to answer any questions. To date, we have a whale watching trip planned and then there are always wine tasting trips, potluck dinners and such. We also plan on driving at...

Still wearing my LOA-newbie hat, I didn't noticed the growing Forum thread on this event; so I will include the link to it here for any other LOA-newbies that see the Calendar before they find it in the Forum discussions ( https://community.lanceowners.org/top...-2014-pismo-beach-ca ). P.S. I'll delete my previous posting, since it seems less relevant now that I've found the Forum thread. WoodGlue , feel free to delete yours as well; and thanks for the info.

Re: Princess Craft Truck Camper Rally, April 6-9, 2017

Doug, aka Atchafalaya Man ·
The PC rally is open to anyone who is interested, regardless of ownership or type of RV or membership in any group. Some don't even have a camper. The Princess Craft owners just love TCs and thus the TC oriented rally. Last year, we ended up with about a dozen LOA members there. It is a party with lots of other brand and size campers there. One of the events is 'open house' afternoon where owners allow groups to view their mods and camper layouts. It's almost worth going just for that,...

Go to this website that has a map of the other camps in the area. While its not with the group its not that far to drive over and spend the days and evenings. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recare...d=80835&actid=29 This is a list of the other nearby camps which are on the map. Sinkhole - Rim - Spillway - Mogollon - Crook In addition there are many areas where you can camp in a "Dispersed" area for free. Contact me if you want or need more information.

FYI. The Bethlem musicfest is being held the week the rally ends. Its pretty cool they have free entertainment and you can "camp" in the Sands parking lot adjacent to the musicfest. If you want to see a bigger group, they will have Aretha, Don Henley,Boston,Lady Antebellum among others but you gotta buy the tickets. We saw Jerry Seinfeld last year- he still cracks me up. We will go there on the way home directly after the Rally. The elevated walkway from the Sands parking lot to the musicfest...

Re: Casual Lance Rally & Get Together - Flying Flags - Nov 8 - 12, 2018

Engunir ·
If we were thinking of attending, how does this sort of get-together work (e.g., do we make our own reservation, or go through someone; is there any group-reservation/discount we need to know for making a reservation; are any group-activities planned;...)? Are there any issues if we came in a non-Lance vehicle? We own a Lance pickup-camper; but also have a (non-Lance) trailer that we'd like to try-out locally before using for any longer trips. Feel free to respond to me directly (off-list),...

We have never attended a rally before and don't know what to expect. Is there a schedule of events? Any seminars? Meal plans? Are we free to attend attractions in the area or do we need to be on site most of the time? I have made reservations for three couples today to camp at the the White Oak Campground for the days of the rally.

We love camping on the BLM land at Quartzite hope to join the group at that time please send GPS coordinate. When we go we like to stay at Dome Rock BLM campground. Very quite and peaceful lots of open space and not far from town. Free to stay there up to two weeks just have to register with the host and then park anywhere you want. The ground is hard pack so you dont have to worry about getting stuck in the sand. Also there is places in town to get water and depending on how long you plan...

There’s a thread about 2020 Quartzsite collection here: https://community.lanceowners.org/topic/3rd-annual-quartzsite-collection-january-2020 I’ll post coordinates when I occupy the spot on the 9th, or if someone gets there first before the 9th, let me know so we can compare notes if they aren’t sure where the spot we want is. I’ll be in the area before the 9th and will move over then to stay legal for the 14 day free limit. It’s all very informal, just come and hang out with other Lance...

Jackalope, Please accept my apology for not seeing your post earlier. I have watched the 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering thread daily, but have forgotten to watch this one. Hi folks...just checking in....we will be having a potluck on the Saturday...probably some impromptu gatherings each of the other nights. There are lots of activities you can become engaged in with everything from beach combing, mini-golf and a water park just down the street, restaurants galore (good...
