Shortest way is over 108 (Sonora Pass), not recommended for trailers, then down 395. Easiest way is 5 south, cut across to Bakersfield, 58 through Tehachapi to 14, north to 395. It looks like 7 hours no matter which way you go.

We just camped on Kenosha Pass (above South Park, east of Fairplay) with our new 2285. Great trip! Pulling the trailer with our Lexus GX470 proved to be no problem! Have camped for many years in South Park (we're virtually natives); one of the greatest places to camp/hike/bike in Colorado!

We are considering your gathering. Our youngest son's birthday is the 14th of October and we usually celebrate it with him. He and his wife live in Slinger,WI not far to your south. It could very well work out!

Re: Ocean Grove 2nd Annual Lance Camper Rally

CamperKay ·
Always a good time when we can meet other Lance owners and talk everything Lance. We are in the planning stage of our travel adventures in 2017, our first year of retirement. This Lance Rally gives us a good time line for planning spring travel. We have had great times at previous T@B rallies. We were welcomed in our Lance after we sold T@BbyKay. We love our Lance 2285. Cool and comfortable. We live on the Gulf Coast and this is our best chance to catch a Lance Rally in 2017. We rarely see...

We have already registered. I think if you call Ocean Grove RV Resort in St. Augustine, where the rally is held, and tell them that you want to register, they will accommodate you. Good Luck! MaryAnn

Doug n Bonnie ·
Hi Susan. I'm the first to see this so I will respond. Chuck, the rally master, will reply also, I'm sure. First thing you need to do is make reservations at South Beach State Park. Once you have your site go into the SCIO discussion page (see link above) and inform Chuck which site you have. Then, just show up. It's a great rally. Also it's important you correspond via the link Chuck has posted above. That's where all the discussion will take place. Bonnie

Whoops, posted before I added all the info. Flying Flags is in wonderful Buellton, CA where there is plenty to do, such as visiting the great little town of Solvang, plenty of places to taste wine and there is a local brewery and even an Indian Casino nearby. The resort offers activities, like Boce Ball and Horse Shoes, plus swimming, hot whirlpool, Link To Activities & Eating We will be having a potluck on Saturday night, so bring your own plates and utensils, and if you have your own...

Hello all, we ordered a 2375 TT but won't get it until March of 2018. Would it be possible to come to this event on Saturday to meet a few LOA members, and see a few of the trailers? We don't live far and were thinking about driving up just for the day. Let us know if this request is acceptable. Thanks

We attended our first rally before we had our trailer. It was great, and the people were very helpful. BTW, there is another thread on this that has 10 pages of messages. I hope we will see you there.

Sorry that I have been away for a bit, but thanks for all the feedback. Now that we understand we can attend the Flying Flags rally on Saturday, do we need to register somewhere or can we just pay to get in for the day when we get there?

For those of you going to RITV5 from either Oregon or WA, what route are you planning to take going south to Quartzite and White Tank Mountain? Concerned for snow in southern Oregon mountain passes. We are looking to stay for a few weeks in AZ (Phoenix, Mesa or Tuscon) and/or So Cal after leaving White Tank. Can anyone recommend RV Campgrounds you have stayed at and liked? Prefer hookups but dry camping for a few days works as well. Thanks very much, Roberta Looking forward to seeing...

Hi folks, our plans have changed and we will no longer be able to attend the Rally at Blackhawk Park. Reservations are for Thursday 5/18 - Sunday 5/21. We have site 53 reserved, should I just cancel? Or if someone wants to take this reservation I can coordinate if you will private message me. Hopefully the Mississippi River will cooperate and the park won't be flooded, lots of water up here headed south. 0053, WEST BLACKHAWK PARK Mississippi River - Pool 9

Re: Rally on Vancouver Island!!

Rodey29 ·
Thanks Ian - We live in the San Francisco Bay Area so this is a bit of a trip for us. We currently plan to be at the rally two full days and then head up to Banff/Lake Louise and then south from there. I did see a couple of reduced fares in the neighborhood of $173 CA for the trip from the island to Vancouver.
