Grumpa, I have to think there is something going on with your cover - agree, take it back under warranty. In your photo it looks almost like dry rot. We're in the second winter of using our ADCO cover, and we don't have anything like that. We do have a hole worn in the driver rear corner, but that's because I haven't padded it well enough. Going to take a closer look at it tomorrow. Please let us know what you find out from ADCO. Don

Update: I called the adco hotline, they asked that I e-mail pics which I did on the 18th and there claim dept. called today and said they would send another cover out to me. So there warrantee is good and I have no complaints. (cept maybee that when I took a pic of the warrantee label on the cover it said..... you guessed it. Made in china.)

Adco Tyvek here,... not the greatest but surely better than the elements. Going on 2 years + so for the price it's been a good investment.

Depends on your climate and how much you want to spend. Where we live, the wind eventually wears the cover out so we don't want to spend too much. ADCO has worked well for us - lasts about 2-3 years and not too expensive. Don

Jeff's CalMark is made of Sunbrella material and the Adco is more like Bounty material.

Got so bad we now store inside a storage facility. Cost a little bit but I just call it insurance for the camper

Adco tyvek cover review

GRUMPA ·
It's been 5 months now and my cover is falling apart under normal use like it was ten years old. Maybe it is ten years old, I just got a bad one, or someone splashed battery acid all over it before they wrapped it up and shipped it out (witch is...

GRUMPA, Just happened to be looking at the old post about your ADCO cover and you being in Mojave. My cousin lives in Lancaster, he has a 5er and uses an ADCO cover he got from CW. He padded all areas before covering the rig. His cover lasted about 2yrs also. Same as you, he had to send pictures and got a new cover within 2 wks. They told him the next cover would have to go through CW since he got the extended warranty there.

It's been another year and the warrantee replacement cover is showing its age too, mostly wind damage but considering the thin material and price it's been a good cover. Thankfully, Adco sent me another patch kit so I should get a bit more use out of it which is good because the plans for the permanent RV port are no where in sight yet.

When we had a popup, we kept it covered. We had Adco, and some other brand I can't remember. 2-3 years was all we got out of them even with patching them. One no-name lasted 3 months and literally fell apart. We got a refund and bought an Adco. We decided that even though we like to protect the finish, on a cost/year basis and the fact that it is kind of a PITA to uncover and recover it every time we use it, we decided to not cover our Lance. We'll see in a few years whether we think we were...

Captains log, star date 1-30-16 The ships magnetic force field is gone with the wind and my permanent RV port hasn't even been conceived yet, I will have to pull out the original Adco cover that was replaced under warrantee with this one and see if I can extend the life a bit. Overall the Adco cover did it's job and was money well spent but the wind is rippin' today an it's likely to end up in the neighbors yard by the end of the day.

Snow removal and ADCO.... Finishing our fourth winter with the Adco cover--mostly intact. This winter CO has had great snow (great for water in summer and skiing now) but necessary to remove snow from the TT. I used a shovel the first time and managed to tear the cover a bit--will get a repair kit/tape--thanks Grumpa. Now use a garage squeegee with its rubber end to remove the snow and successfully leave the cover intact. For the price, the cover has done well. Only use it in the winters so...

Re: ADCO Trailer cover for 2017 1685 TT

I got an off-the-shelf ADCO cover for my 1685 with the Tyvek roof section off of Amazon. After constant exposure to the sun, the only thing left intact was the Tyvek portion. The rest of it just started to disintegrate on the sunny side of the trailer. We bought another one hoping for better results and ended up with the same result. I submitted a warranty claim since it was only 2 years old. They agreed to replace the cover but suggested I upgrade to the full-Tyvek version. I wasn't aware...

Here is a link that has info on the custom RV covers from ADCO. https://www.adcoprod.com/custom-rv-covers#cover58 We got the custom "Tyvek RV" cover that is all white. I told them the year and model number of our Lance and they created an exact fit. It literally fits like a glove. I can install and remove by myself since it fits so well compared to the off-the-shelf cover we bought previously that fit loosely and had extra material. Only time will tell if it will hold up but as I mentioned...

Our ADCO Custom cover with Sunbrella fabric is almost five years old. I cleaned the mold off with 1.5 cups of bleach and 1/4 cup of dish detergent per gallon of water a week ago but the process may have damaged the fabric. It feels dry and thin relative to how it usually felt. Started looking for a replacement in the event we need one. Got a $1,472 + S&H quote from CalMark for their new Weathermax RV fabric; they say that they can’t get Sunbrella fabric right now due to supply chain...

I just had the ADCO 36839 die on us, was using it on a 2019 1575. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09HR9GRYS Did not even make it through the 3rd winter. The stitching had all but disintegrated and the grey sections of the cover were brittle. We had a wind storm last week and it was toast. Was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a brand other than ADCO that is worth trying?
