Hitches & Things Lance Trailer Hitch Cover

HavaBrew22 ·
Let me start of by saying that I am in no way affiliated with Hitches & Things and do not stand to make $.01 from any sales of this item. I did pay for the design fees for this custom made hitch so that the LOA community could buy a Lance hitch cover. I purchased this from Trevor who is the owner and operator. Per his website, "Hitches & Things is based out of Chehalis, WA. It is a company owned and operated by a disabled veteran who is proud to support a variety of charities across...

WeBoost (Wilson Electronics) Drive 4GM Cell Signal Booster

Big E ·
I recently aquired a WeBoost Drive 4GM cell signal booster. The 4GM isn't the latest and greatest offering, that would be the Drive 4GX. I was initially drawn to the 4GX plus RV essentials kit which retails for $619.99. The Drive 4GX by itself sells for $479 and the 4GM for $379. I purchased the Drive 4GM from Amazon Warehouse Deals (technically used) for $273. Both the 4GM and 4GX are rated to boost cell signal by up to 50 db. The difference being the 4GX is supposed to be twice as powerful...

On our recent 7 day trip we decided to use our front cargo carrier with storage box.  Since the weather was going to be hot I had some concerns about engine and transmission temps.  My truck doesn't have a trans temp gauge so I invested in a...

Re: Lance Factory Tour and BBQ Rally

I spoke to the campground today. They fixed the problem where people could register for a site over the internet. No one can register to camp that weekend except though our LOA process. The KOA also released more sites to us today and I will be communicating with the Dry Campers to see if they want to upgrade to FH. I am expecting more sites to open as it gets closer. Some people are at KOA on a monthly basis and as soon as they leave, the KOA will save that site for us that weekend. Thanks ...

Darn, wish I'd seen that first before ordering. I always forget to check e-bay. I have this age old stigma firmly planted in my cranium that it's an internet garage sale of sorts and forget that there are a lot of legitimate vendors doing business there. Oh well, mistake only cost 10 bucks.

Don't worry Randy. I also have the whole "Internet Junk Sale" mentality when it comes to eBay too! WoodGlue

Spam? I'm not sure what spam you are receiving but I don't think it came from my product review post. Can you send me a link or image of what you are receiving so I can take it down. Spam is typically an indiscriminate email sent to large number of recipients or an irrelevant or inappropriate messages sent/posted on the Internet. If you feel my product review is inappropriate, please let me know what I can do to change it. I am trying to do honest product reviews for LOAers and have no...

Thanks Erick for this thread. My work requires internet access. This may be worth it (when we are closer to full-time). Great information.

I've been curious about a cell booster for a while, even considering making one myself with an old sat dish (directional) versus a non-directional like you did here. This further pushes me that route, but I don't think I'll be doing anything quite yet. After dropping Sprint, my signal has already gone up But I would be curious if the residential version would actually be better for our application. Leemom, if internet is something you require when you go FT, I would consider Hughesnet. It's...

Thanks for the info. We are still a few years away from this, but I do enjoy thinking about what I will be doing when I can get up and go. I will try to file this away somewhere for future use.
