Had a nice, relaxing trip up to Collins Lake this weekend. The lake level was down and the weather was cool but the DW limited out on trout (as usual)! Met up with Loanshark and friends (really nice folks). Compared notes on our Lance trailers and overall had a very relaxing weekend. Truly wish we could make it to the Northern CA LAO rally in January but, due to prior commitments, we won't be able to. Did see one other Lance TC at Collins and a couple on the road on the way home.

We were up for the day. Checking out CG, hiking trails, and sites and to let our girls (Sadie and Saffron) playing the snow. The weather was spectacular!

Our next door neighbors took their inflatable boat to the lake this morning and saw a femal go into the lake and bathe for about 20min.... i’d Kill to get photos of that!!! Next time you guys. Rob

Kari, remember me telling you about the female elks calling for the herd??? There is one calling for them right now, she sounds like she is right across the street from us, it’s almost 11pm... i’ll Find tha video clip and send it to you! Sounds sooo cool!

I’m glad everyone had such a good time last year. We consider it our little corner of the world and the best escape from the heat of the valley. We will be back at our usual site but we would rather not host every night. We could do one night and it would be nice if anyone that shows up would like to host any additional evening get togethers. We enjoyed meeting everyone last year and had some good laughs and great weather. June weather is almost always the best of the entire season. We will...

We're reserved for the 16th and we'll do our best! Weather report for the Texas/Oklahoma panhandle area where we are is 3" of SNOW over the weekend! So we're not sure what kind of cripple this will put in our travel schedule. I think we have wiggle room. Happy Campers BobnRobin

:-) Wish we had been there. I imagine you had some gorgeous weather last weekend. We were at high school baseball games in Alameda (of all places) all weekend & had fantastic weather kicking back in the sun & watching games.

Greetings from White Oak Campground site # 71 !! Made the trip up from Florida with a 14 foot trailer in tow ( place for the bike to ride) The campgrounds are nice, the weather is exceptional and the countryside is beautiful. Typically the weather in late June is nice. V.C. is perched at an elevation of 6200' and daytime highs are in the upper 80s to around 90. Evenings are pleasant.

I can tell you, you won't see snow.

The rally schedule/ events list will be out soon. We usually have a hamburger/hotdog cook out a morning breakfast cookout, a pot luck dinner and raffle the last evening. Along with that we have (weather permitting) nightly campfires “ meet ,greet and socializing! More coming soon

Yes Tom & Cherie. Judging by the responses on this thread there will be quite a few Lance owners in Quartzsite in mid January. Some for the weather (snowbirds) some stopping (to shop and visit) on their way to RITV. Everyone is welcome! Bob
