Re: 2014 Pismo Beach Rally - 4/3/2014 - 4/8/2014

WoodGlue ·
Hi Engunir, The rally will probably only have Lance owners and anyone else who is interested in Lance are always welcome to stop by or camp with us! We don't have any vendors scheduled, but they're always welcome. Our knowledge base is pretty experienced, so if you or any attendees have any questions we are always there to answer any questions. To date, we have a whale watching trip planned and then there are always wine tasting trips, potluck dinners and such. We also plan on driving at...

Re: Clam Six Pack 1660 Mag Screen Tent (or the Worlds easiest/fastest screen room)

kallish ·
Missed part of the question, the Clam is a piece of cake for one (short) person to take down. My only suggestion would be to watch a couple of youtube videos to see how it's done (the first move is crucial)

Re: Torklift Lower StableLoads on a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 towing a Lance 1575

gscott ·
Yeah, the stops are installed so it should be a piece of cake thanks to your in depth descriptions and pictures! I fear I am going to have to go through and re-adjust the ball height. When I put the trailer on the ball it sags quite a bit. The WDH helps a bit and brings things level, but I think I'd like to see what effect these Stableloads will have. I'm open to readjusting the ball height if it eliminates the sag; if I can keep it level; and if it tows better (which will be wonderful--it...

Torklift Lower StableLoads on a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 towing a Lance 1575

Red Barchetta ·
We recently switched TV's. We went from a more than adequate 2000 Lincoln Navigator with a self-leveling rear-end (air bags) which towed our 1575 easily straight and true to a more than adequate new-to-us 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 Extended Cab LTZ (V8, 5.3L, factory tow package, integrated brake controller, ...). *Here is the thread on our TV switch - http://lanceowners.hoop.la/top...ed-to-a-new-to-us-tv While the truck is much more than adequate to handle our small, skinny, & light 1575...

Re: iBALL Wireless Trailer Hitch Camera

GregA ·
After using the IBall to hitch up these past few weeks, I can now say that I would highly recommend it. Lining up the ball and hitch, as well as gauging correct distance to back up is now a piece of cake - it works every time w/o having to get in and out of the truck all the time to see where I'm at.

So it is August already! We are getting closer to the first Vancouver Island Rally...AAAUUUGHH! Finally, a Tongue Jack worth talking about

R&V Spiker ·
Like many of you, I've had a love/hate relationship with the Lippert "Smart Jack" that came installed on our Lance trailers. I loved the memory features...BIG TIME! That said, the memory function was never spot on and couldn't be counted on when recalling the set height after unhooking the trailer. I found myself always having to get out and check before docking. The hate relationship was in regards to the reliability and I have read many posts from others expressing the same concerns. The...
