I so wish we were in town so that we could go out of town to camp with you and others. Have visited Wood's Canyon several times vowing that we would stay there. Have not made it yet. Enjoy......from your pictures, small and intimate, it looked like a wonderful time.

Thanks, now have it in our new GPS. We shall be there first try as last year we were one of the few on the wrong side of the lake.

I attended the First Annual Texas Truck Camper Rally at Inks Lake State Park last year and can confirm that PJ and her crew at Princess Craft put on one fine rally. They had raffles, an excellent BBQ, a live band with dancing under the stars, coffee in the mornings and a couple of informal camper maintenance seminars. They also had a camper open house. As soon as I was informed about the date and place of the upcoming rally I signed up and am looking forward to attending.

Sure, come up for the weekend, if they have any sites left. Check as soon as you can. The more the marrier!!!

The closest I could get was site 108. I have reservations from Friday the 8th to Monday the 11th.

Really like this property! Have been wanting to stay there and now this will the perfect opportunity. Shall we get a wine tasting bus to take us up to Los Olivos & Foxen Canyon?

I like the "...bring your own supper*..." idea, but IMHO, I would think it would be Ok if folks wanted to bring something to share - like cookies, bars...etc. Hard to say what changes "they" might recommend between now and then. Outdoor events haven't been hampered much to date. "Easygoing...", I agree, folks should feel comfortable to just enjoy the weekend surrounded by fellow Lancers - whether that means gathering close with others, or connecting from a bit further away...either is fine.

Just google attractions for the area, that should tell you...I do know that the places I visited in Wisconsin was beautiful in the fall of the year, this was near lake Superior.

But thanks to some timely help from @KS Farm Girl , we've got an alternate location lined up. Let the adventure begin! Same dates - May 17-21, 2023 but now at Sugar Bottom Campground, near Cedar Rapids, IA. We had to cancel the riverboat tour, but all the rest of the fun is cued up and ready to go! Potluck! ❤️ the BC Ferries. They do charge by the foot. Meaning from the front bumper of your TV to the back bumper (or ladder) of your TT. Can be kinda expensive, but they treat you well and have cafeteria on board, and some have cabins and movie theaters. Check out their other sailings as well. We took a circle ferry on the Sunshine Coast and island hopped from one port to another, camping at the Provincial Parks along the way. Thanks Ian - We live in the San Francisco Bay Area so this is a bit of a trip for us. We currently plan to be at the rally two full days and then head up to Banff/Lake Louise and then south from there. I did see a couple of reduced fares in the neighborhood of $173 CA for the trip from the island to Vancouver.
