Had a nice, relaxing trip up to Collins Lake this weekend. The lake level was down and the weather was cool but the DW limited out on trout (as usual)! Met up with Loanshark and friends (really nice folks). Compared notes on our Lance trailers and overall had a very relaxing weekend. Truly wish we could make it to the Northern CA LAO rally in January but, due to prior commitments, we won't be able to. Did see one other Lance TC at Collins and a couple on the road on the way home.

Hi Engunir, The rally will probably only have Lance owners and anyone else who is interested in Lance are always welcome to stop by or camp with us! We don't have any vendors scheduled, but they're always welcome. Our knowledge base is pretty experienced, so if you or any attendees have any questions we are always there to answer any questions. To date, we have a whale watching trip planned and then there are always wine tasting trips, potluck dinners and such. We also plan on driving at...

Please excuse if this is a duplicate message, my first effort just kinda went away not sure where. My wife and I planning on attending what will be our first Lance rally. We have reserved site D-10, and are looking forward to the trip and meeting new folks. I believe there is a comment thread about the event but yet to find it. Still learning how use this site. ��

I just saw this. Was it ever posted in the discussion? Wish I could have made it but it's only a week apart from the annual SCIO. I've been trying for the past 3 years to have someone do a GTG who lives in CO. All I got was places to camp but no one wanted to set it up. Thank you Rob for doing this. My U.S. map looks like it's missing a tooth and it's CO. I'm planning on a trip there this year so I'll keep in touch, maybe we can hook up since you know the places....

Bummer, things always come up when you least expect it. My wife and I go up every month for about 5 days starting on this trip in June. It’s how we beat the heat in Phoenix... i’ll Post our next trip this weekend. Since it is so close to the valley the sites get booked up quickly. Fall could be a really nice trip with the colores changing. These was someone who was coming up and didn’t have a reservation. I would hook up with them and see if they can reserve it just after you cancel. Think...

We are going unless the forest gets shut down, at this point it doesn’t look likely but if there is another big fire in the area between now and then it could change. Everyone that’s going, please keep an eye on this page. I’ll post an update just before we head up on Wednesday afternoon or if anything changes that could impact this trip. Wow, I’m sitting here on the last night of the Woods Canyon Lake trip and thinking I don’t want to go back the the valley. Met some truly great people, laughed a lot, got a lot of photos to be posed here. Thanks to everyone that made the trip. Without all of you the memories wouldn’t be the same. I’m glad everyone had such a good time last year. We consider it our little corner of the world and the best escape from the heat of the valley. We will be back at our usual site but we would rather not host every night. We could do one night and it would be nice if anyone that shows up would like to host any additional evening get togethers. Wow! Cannot believe how quickly all the spots were taken. This will be my first trip and I am looking forward to it. I registered for two sites in the dry camping section for Thursday and Friday and for two full sites for Saturday. We will take what we can get this year and will be quicker next year! Please let us know if there is a cancellation and we might get full hookups.

Ok, the factory visit is starting to look good. But it looks like I'm a few months late. I saw if you're dry camping you can park anywhere on the site...really! There's got to be more information than that, having to move your rig because of... UPDATE: We sign up for two nights of Dry camping, I will be seeking A LOT of information prior to this trip. Never done dry camping , going to try that next month, and I will seeking some hard learned knowledge.

My wife and I just signed up for 3 nights Dry camp. We prefer FH but it sounds like there are none available. Will this be camping in the parking area? This is our first organized camping trip and we're both excited to see some lance mods (me mostly) and meet fellow campers.

Dean, Judy & f150k, it looks as if the two Doug's have it covered. And if Gus had been home today instead of out for appointments and getting the truck ready for the trip, he would have tried to help. It'll be fun meeting new and old friends. We just camped on Kenosha Pass (above South Park, east of Fairplay) with our new 2285. Great trip! Pulling the trailer with our Lexus GX470 proved to be no problem! Have camped for many years in South Park (we're virtually natives); one of the greatest places to camp/hike/bike in Colorado!

I have camped there a couple of time. Had a great time up by Fairplay the camp ground is called Horse Shoe. First trip in my new 1685 it is a great unit!!!
