SlimPort-to-HDMI adapter for mirroring phone on tv

Red Barchetta ·
I/we wanted an easy way to mirror my phone ( LG G3 (with unlimited data)) to the TT's tv to watch baseball games (I have an MLB subscription) & watch movies that are stored on my phone or that I have copies of through the Google cloud. So I ordered aSlimPort-to-HDMI adapter: http://www.slimportconnect.com/ I ordered it from Amazon ($31.20 with Amazon Prime): http://www.amazon.com/Official...ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t Here is an updated list of supported phones...

Re: Best Gas Can - For Campers With Generators

WoodGlue ·
By the way, I have no affiliation with Amazon. I'm just a happy Amazon Prime member and use them more than any other shopping portal online. I actually bought another 2.5 gallon container, since the tanks are a "no stink" deal, I'll carry one in the back of the truck whenever I go camping! WoodGlue

Re: Trailer-Aid "Plus" Tandem Tire Changing Ramp

Mike and Sue ·
I've not had to change a flat on the road either, but I've learned that it is difficult to get a jack under the Lance at the jack pads. Not something I'd like to do on the road. Gary - PAU HANA - carries two of these in his truck. He has a well documented long trip on this forum with significant tire problems. After talking to Gary at Shingletown, I decided this was a must have for us. Found it on Amazon for about $54.00 and no shipping on Prime. Comes in a nice, very useful box that I'm...

Re: Trinova Plastic and Trim Restorer (...as well as trailer frames!)

dht ·
I used a similar product to remove chalking from epoxy paint on our boat years ago. It seemed to last about two months - but it looked great! Yes, this is a bit more HD than hazing, unfortunately. On the "bright" side, the converter is also a primer that leaves the metal a semi gloss black - when done correctly. So far, I've done the tire carrier and when the weather improves, I'll start at the back bumper and work forward.

The product is not a "paint" what it does is it clears off the hazing that most paints get after a while. The classic black frame paint is a prime example, with this product it gets a "like new" appearance, at least for a while...

Carrand 12 v fan

Allendale ·
Carrand 12 v. fan from O'Reilly's Auto Parts. Also sold on Amazon under Prime Products, United Pacific, and probably other names. The good: Nice size. All metal. Pivots (manually) up, down, or side to side. Fairly effective and quiet on low, not unreasonable on high. Draws just 1/2 amp on low, 1 1/2 amps on high. The price is a reasonable $25. The bad: These are made to be installed in a truck cab, screwed into a metal surface, and direct wired. To use in our trailers or TCs some ingenuity...

TST 770

Slotown ·
We recently purchased a TST 770 during Prime Days. Read the instructions and installed all six of the valves (four trailer, two truck). It works great and settings were very easy to modify/change for my vehicles (F350 and 1985 Lance). It is a little slow to pick up all six of the valve core sending units. I do have a question. Instructions indicate I need to install the signal booster or I may void the warranty. It suggests the tongue as to were to mount it. My question is the battery box is...

Re: Mopeka Pro Check Water Sensor

VigII ·
I was very tempted to do your sight glass mod. I never moved on it because I had a pretty good 'windage' guesstimate by knowing how many gallons I started out with. Then I saw the Mopeka water tank gizmo! The gauge doesn't seem to be able to gauge the last ~5 gallons in the tank. It re with poor quality signal. Perhaps that is because I have it mounted on what appeared to me to be a slope in the tank near the water pickup. Maybe that's where the hidden 3 gallons you describe is, in that...

I like this idea. Nicely done. This is probably now on my list. One more thing you may want to try out in the calibrating step... I noticed, when I was calibrating my "sight-glass" mod, is that my tank had several unusable gallons at the bottom. Three I think. I don't know if that is a normal condition or not. I figured that out, when after draining the tank completely and de-priming the water pump, the pump would not re-prime until there were 3 gallons in the tank. I did not test the other...

Still just above the storm line, in Stockton, MO, I move into east Texas, in about a week. It's been high 20s in the mornings. I'll be at Lake O' Pines, near Jefferson, TX for month and then Sam Rayburn, near Jasper, TX for six weeks to two months. I go to Texoma, after that, for month, prime storm time and area. Balancing storm line and snow line, is balancing act.

OUTLAND PORTABLE FIRE BOWL

Ray & Donna ·
We recently purchased an Outland Premium Fire Bowl from Costco and rather than connecting it directly to a propane bottle, I bought the pictured hose from Amazon for $17.99 and it works perfectly with no leaks. Since the propane bottles on the trailer that feed the Lance provided propane quick connect outlet have safety regulators, you do not need the regulator on the hose provided with the Outland Fire Bowl. It is an easy conversion with the new hose that has a 1/4" male quick connect on...
