Wow, we are the little rally that could like the little train... I think I can, I think I can and now look where we are! Awesome! Is it time to start a conversation on a a schedule and suggestions on communal meals? There was a conversation on a breakfast but not sure what else has been discussed. if we have some suggestions, I will put together an itinerary to post in a common area. Friday afternoon/evening everyone will be arriving and setting up so an easy potluck of food and beverages...

Took me a while too Ann. This calendar thread really is more annoying than anything, but it's the only way for our rally to show in the upcoming LOA rally's column.. New posts don't even show up as recent posts.

Hi Engunir, The rally will probably only have Lance owners and anyone else who is interested in Lance are always welcome to stop by or camp with us! We don't have any vendors scheduled, but they're always welcome. Our knowledge base is pretty experienced, so if you or any attendees have any questions we are always there to answer any questions. To date, we have a whale watching trip planned and then there are always wine tasting trips, potluck dinners and such. We also plan on driving at...

It’s usually about 10 degrees cooler than Payson and the temps at Woods Canyon swing about 30 degrees. The forecast as of today calls for low to mid 80’s during the day and the 50’s at night so bring long pants and long sleeve shirts. We always have jackets. If it rains the temps will drop another 10-15 degrees. rob

FYI there is a significant gain in elevation 2610 ft. between Payson at 4890 ft. and Aspen Camp at 7500 ft. You will know that as you chug up that last hill to reach the top of the rim. It will be a lot cooler than Yuma Sgt.

My arrival alone might change to our arrival a couple days later. Yesterday, while ripping a short piece of 2x6 for a small project, my fingers came to close to the table saw blade. There were some nerves, ligaments, small arteries severed. So right now I am all bandaged up and feeling good with my friend Percocet. There is still 2 1/2 weeks before the barn party. So, I am hoping that I will be in better shape than I am now, especially if I have to manhandle some 2X6 to put under the rig so...

I need to review and reconcile but as it stands right now the full hookup sites are sold out. There are a couple people that paid but did not specify a site. This sold out faster than a rolling stones concert.

Ok, the factory visit is starting to look good. But it looks like I'm a few months late. I saw if you're dry camping you can park anywhere on the site...really! There's got to be more information than that, having to move your rig because of... UPDATE: We sign up for two nights of Dry camping, I will be seeking A LOT of information prior to this trip. Never done dry camping , going to try that next month, and I will seeking some hard learned knowledge.

There are a few hook up sites at the factory. At the last factory tour the Lance people asked if anyone needed hook ups for their camper to run A/C for pets during the tour. If its going to be hot like it was last time your pet would be better off in a cooled camper than inside that hot factory.

Are there any issues if we came in a non-Lance vehicle? We own a Lance pickup-camper; but also have a (non-Lance) trailer that we'd like to try-out locally before using for any longer trips. Well folks, we're officially less than 30 days to our rally. We have 34 campers signed up for the rally! And maybe a few who made their own ressies. I've been thinking about a notional (and informal) agenda. Suggestions or comments/thoughts are welcome...nothing is carved in stone at this point. If there's sufficient interest, we can charter a bus or van for a wine-tasting excursion...please let me know if you'd be interested in sharing the cost...I have no idea how much that could be, but...

Unfortunately, my allocated spots have all been taken. If you can possibly make your own reservation directly with Flying Flags (not as part of the rally), you're more than welcome to join in the fun and participate in all the activities, but you probably won't be camped near the rest of us. Sorry, but that's the best I can offer you at this time.

Dave and Jerri, Normally only Gathering and Rallys are on the calendar. Not sure of your question, but the Quartzsite collection is an informal gathering of Lance owners in Quartzsite, AZ in January. It coincideds with 2 events, the Quartzsite giant RV show and RITV (Usery Reginial Park Mesa, AZ.) , which occur in mid January each year. If read this thread you'll get most the details. Hi there, Our Group is open to all. All RV types. We started out as just TC's, but some in our group do to circumstances have changed RV's, and still wanted to participate in our events. Well we couldn't say no, so we added the Friends (to include all rv's) We to have changed Rv's so it only seem like the right thing to do. You are more than welcome to come to the 2017 Summer RAlly. So I have a brand new Fantastic Vent with all hardware (white) that I can't use. I do not have the patience, or desire, to fashion some brackets for it to mount it like a Maxx Air cover, and I'm not going to drill into the roof. The shipping on it back to CW is more than it's worth. I regret not doing the research, and thinking about the fact that Lance clamps the Fantastics in. Anyhow, if anyone attending this soiree has any interest in it, let me know and I'll bring it. See ya'll soon.

BBD, they don't have to screw to the roof. When I did mine I made aluminum angle brackets and attached them to the vertical section of the fan housing. It's a bit more work but do able! Give it a second thought! To bad we had to cancel or we could have installed it! Maybe someone will help you. Good luck BobnRobin

BBD, Attached is a video on the install of the cover, the only thing is, DON'T drill holes in the top as shown in the video. What you have to do, is go inside your trailer and drop the inside shroud to get to the ends of the bracket bolts. You may need an assistant inside to put lock washers and nuts on the bolt ends. May want to add a dab of (none perminent) glue to prevent nuts from backing off. Then put inter shroud backup and you're done! Easy? < https://youtu.be/4UQSR6wMehE >
