Gus ·
I wish we could... The PC rally is scheduled every year the same time as Sun 'n Fun air show in Lakeland, FL. Marcia is committed, as chair person for all the volunteers at the workshops and will be dry camping in a cow pasture for a week or so preparing for opening day and stay till after the show closes. At the present time, Angela and Gordon White of Truck Camper Magazine are camped in our front yard. They will be attending the PC rally. We went to our favorite Italian restaurant for...

We're thinking seriously about this one - the timing seems right this year. But, is this only for truck campers or can those of us with TT's join in? I think I've asked that before but don't remember the answer.

Marcia @acmaintainer and I sorta talked about going after we cancelled our plans of attending the Cape Breton Island NS Celtic Music Fest. Several truck problems have us turning south now.

Plenty of room... At the gate, they take check or cash. Tell them you are with the truck camper group and they will guide you back here.

I have two questions, 1) my Lance is an 1881, about 23' and truck at 19' , what sites will this set up fit into; and 2) I put the rally in the "cart" but at the check out point I couldn't select a site, how do I select a site. Thanks. Steve

It's working fine Doug B. No issues. In the meantime, here's how to find the site for those seeking info: (1) Up above on this page you will see "HOME" "FORUMS" "SEARCH" etc. Mouse over the box FORUMS. Left click once. (2) When the page opens again, go SEVEN Topics down is "PRESENT RALLIES". Left click once. (3) When the page opens, go FIVE Topics down and you will see: 2014 Midwest Truck Camper RallyJuly 23-27th

Re: 2014 Midwest Truck Camper Rally

Gus ·
Dean, Judy & f150k, it looks as if the two Doug's have it covered. And if Gus had been home today instead of out for appointments and getting the truck ready for the trip, he would have tried to help. It'll be fun meeting new and old friends. The camper is loaded onto the truck now. Time to do some provisioning.

I am a newbie, having just returned to Georgia from Poncha Springs, CO with my new 1995 trailer. I'd like to learn more about my Lance trailer and wonder if this event would be a good place to start. I understand that a lot of rallies are mainly truck campers. Thanks

Re: Princess Craft Texas Rally; Second Annual

cajuncamper ·
Little correction to above post. Princesscraft Rv is located in Round Rock, Texas, not San Antonio, Tx. It is time to make your reservations now so you can reserve a spot in the group of Truck Campers. The RV park is very helpful in making sure you are together with the group and you can reserve your spot with a credit card which will not be charged to your account until you arrive. You have 48 hours prior to your arrival date to cancel with no penalties. Be sure to confirm this info when...

Re: SUMMER CAMPING IN OREGON RALLY

bapsjp ·
It looks like sites 408 and 410 are available. We have site 406 booked which is just around the corner from Shchuck. There is a disclaimer about the sites not being angled for easy trailer parking but we're taking a chance since the 1685 is relatively small. Besides, we have a hitch on the front of our truck which might help in a pinch. If necessary we could help you too!

Re: Princess Craft Texas Rally; Second Annual

Eldon ·
I attended the First Annual Texas Truck Camper Rally at Inks Lake State Park last year and can confirm that PJ and her crew at Princess Craft put on one fine rally. They had raffles, an excellent BBQ, a live band with dancing under the stars, coffee in the mornings and a couple of informal camper maintenance seminars. They also had a camper open house. As soon as I was informed about the date and place of the upcoming rally I signed up and am looking forward to attending.

Leaving this morning, taking back roads for about a 3 hour ride. Roy @Hodag is there in his SOB. Angela and Gordon of Truck Camper Magazine, Ray and a few other TCs are already there. I expect to see a couple of TTs and a Class A in our small gathering area.

Re: Rally In The Valley 2017

Duncan&Dawn ·
We just bought a 1475 and live about ten miles from the meetup. However, Dawn and I both work and wouldn't be able to tow our camper there on time. Would we be able to hit the place in our truck (minus the camper) after work either day? We'd really like to meet some of the folks here and have the opportunity to learn a bit more.

Duncan follow the link below. Go to the discussion thread and read the post then choose which one you want to do. At this point you can request to be put on the wait list for the Group Area and/or you can get a hookup site in the park. https://community.lanceowners.org/top...in-the-valley-2017-1 BobnRobin

We are new Lance owners ....a trailer, model 1985 as well as new LOA members. Is this rally strictly for Lance slide-in truck campers or any Lance product? We have camped several times at the Amana Colonies park. A great place for a rally. Chuck & Jane

And you have that beautiful new truck that is so ready to get out and go somewhere. We too are mostly laying low, but we might still head out to the Black Hills this fall and then just wander from there. The great Plains event is on our radar, but so many uncertainties right now.

Our maybe attending turns out to be a No... Yesterday, we left Michigan in our rear/side view mirrors and entered Indiana. We're plugged in at @Grayden4 's pad in Auburn IN. With about 10K miles on our present adventure, we plan to change oil and filter on the truck. Have fun everyone and be safe. Continue to social distance when in close quarters.
