My Experience:

I LOVE THIS CHAIR!  I bought two chairs at Costco for $59 each.  My wife and I loved the chairs so much, that we went back to buy two more and they were sold out.  And for good reason, the chair is very, very comfortable.  I could easily nap in my chair and it reclines to an almost lying position.  The side table with cup holder is a great add on.  The chairs are a little heavy but that is because they are made of high quality materials.  The chairs is very sturdy and has lasted us over a year so far.  I’ve seen chairs of this quality go for $120.  This is a no brained, if you are lucky enough to find a Timber Ridge Zero Gravity chair at your local Costco - Buy It! You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!

We have a couple zero gravity chairs and where-as I agree, they are quite comfy especially when laying back on a warm evening looking up at the stars, they are simply too heavy and bulky. We never use them anymore because of this very reason.

Before leaving on our 5 week trip through the PNW this past summer, I took the trailer down to a Cat scale and weighed it. The trailer was loaded and ready to go and much to my surprise, was waaaay overweight by almost 300 lbs. The truck was pushing the limits as well. Having those heavy chairs would have simply added insult to injury and would have likely been thrown overboard along with a bunch of other unnecessary gear that had accumulated over the years. "A trailer's got to know it's limitations".

All that said, I'm glad to see you're enjoying them.

I just took a closer look at your camping photo. Have you ever taken your rig to a scale and weighed it? You too might be a bit shocked. You definitely have a lot of stuff out there.

Yes, I hit a scale in August.  I’m well within the trailer weight and TV tow weight.  The tounge weight was surprisingly high but within range.

As for the stuff in the photo, I wish I could claim it’s all mine but Flying Flags RV Resort in Buellton, CA provided the fire pit , barbecue, table, and propane.  They even clean the firepit, barbecue and refill the propane daily - GLAMPING!  The bikes, chairs, Ice chest and lantern our mine.

We have the same chairs, too. We absolutely love them. I wish there was a space in the outside storage to put them. We put the fluffy dog bed standing up between the far side of the bed and the mattress, and the chairs are strapped in between the dog bed and the bed frame. They've never moved, but it isn't as convenient as I'd like.

These chairs have been the best addition to camping! After a day of hiking, it is great to have a place outside to recline.

As much as I like the way mine feels when first sitting in it. It is definitely NOT a chair for folks with long legs. The lower cross bar presses on the Achilles tendon just above the heel on me making it a painful chair to recline in for periods longer than 5 minutes. Ours has been in the garage for years. Sadly not for me.

As far as storage, I have been laying mine flat, end to end, on the floor in front of the dinette. And then I retract the dinette over them when we leave. They have never moved once.
