By cheap, I mean only in price.  These Cree LED Flashlights are the bees knees when it comes to brightness (wide angle and also narrow angle) They retail for - HOLD ON:  $3.55 each - Free Shipping

I usually buy 7 or 8 at a time and I put them in jacket pockets, trailer cupboards, cupboards at home, wherever!

They're small, metal and well built and made by Cree or for Cree (I'm uncertain)

That is all,

That IS a good price. I have bought a few of the three packs at Costco which also includes the batteries and have scattered them all around the house hoping that whenever I need a flashlight, there will be one in the room I'm in. That didn't work too well as someone in this house seems to pick them up, use them and then put them somewhere never to be seen again. No.....I'm not naming names as there are two dogs here that I'm sure the blame would be put upon.

Poor, poor scapegoat doggies.

looks good - I hadn't seen these before.  Look like I could use a few in lots of places - been buying cheap headlamps when on lightning deals - but these would be a nice addition.  I like having some headlamps for working with 2 hands and red beams for not blinding people in camp.  Been buying energizer headlamps when on lightning deals.

Lauren, I like these although more expensive....the hat clip has come in handy many times and much thinner the the one you posted takes one AAA...I also have a two AA version that is about as long as a pen but a lot thicker

The LED is made by Cree, someone else makes the light. CREE is a NC  based firm that leads the world in LED inovation. Awesome products. Good deal on that little flashlight, might have to order a couple of them.
