Carrand 12 v. fan from O'Reilly's Auto Parts.  Also sold on Amazon under Prime Products, United Pacific, and probably other names.

The good:  Nice size.  All metal.  Pivots (manually) up, down, or side to side.  Fairly effective and quiet on low, not unreasonable on high.  Draws just 1/2 amp on low, 1 1/2 amps on high.  The price is a reasonable $25.

The bad: These are made to be installed in a truck cab, screwed into a metal surface, and direct wired.  To use in our trailers or TCs some ingenuity and wiring skills are required.  High speed is not much better than low and is a good deal louder.

Good and bad in one sentance:  It is the exact height to fit on the bedside bookshelf in most Lance trailers, but it would have to be screwed into the counter top.

With two nights and one full day to go I decided I might need a fan inside the trailer.  O'Reilly's said they could get this delivered next day to my local store, so it was this or nothing.

It needs to be screwed into a frame, wall, something.  I took a piece of 1/2" thick cherry out of my scrap box, and what you see is what it is.  The weight of the board alone will hold it as pictured (not for travel, obviously).  If one wanted to mount it one one of the closet walls above the bed, say, it would work very well.

Since I did not want to permanently install it, I needed a 12 v. accessory plug.  The unit is designed to self ground on installation, so I had to bolt in a ring post to add a ground wire for my plug.

I post this for information only.  I bought it without knowing even the size, much less the wiring issues.  I am happy with it, but with more time available I would have chosen something else.  That said, it is a nice fan, quieter than 80% of the ones out there, and would be great for a permanent mount installation.
