I recently installed the AP Products Slimshade Door Windows on booth doors on my 2017 2185. Total install time was about 30 minutes for two windows. You will need some painters tape and a helper to hold the glass while you tighten the screws. I love the look of all tinted windows and being able to be able to see out of the doors adds an open feeling. The built in shade is great for privacy and keeping sunlight out. I purchased on Amazon for about $90 a piece. I highly recommend the windows. They look great, install easy and he built in shade is awesome.

Great mod! The only problem that I encountered on the installation was that Lance had cut the hole in the door bigger than they would have had to so the Slim Shade had to positioned perfectly. Would have liked to have had a little more door surface so as to insure a good seal.
WTG, Looks great !
I recently converted my TCer door with a Slim Shade Window.
30 minutes ? Seriously? It took me longer than that for one window 😊
You deserve a good brew for a job well done!
Good looking mod
👍 It's in our top ten mods.
I did the same thing last fall, and we love it! But, I installed upside-down, so we can pull the shade up from the bottom. This allows us to get more privacy, if desired, while still being able to see out the upper-half of the window.
@LoveToGlamp....wow! That's a mod on a mod...you rock!
@HavaBrew22...great job on those two windows!! Looks fantastic!
We didn't want the shade so we just ordered the replacement tinted glass. About $25.00 from Tweety's. If we want shade we'll hang one magnetically from the screen door inside our 1985.
AP Products 015-201496 Entry Door Window Glass
I saw this post from HAVABREW22 right after last weekend when my Wife stated it would be nice to see out the door and make the back of the camper feel more open. I looked up the Tweetys web site on late Thursday and ordered just the glass. It arrived on Saturday (today) with just reg. shipping all for less than $22.00. Tempered safety glass and cut to correct size. Took under and hour to install. We already had the privacy screen. Thanks for the post on where to buy.

So we’re thinking of doing this mod. How do you measure thickness of the door? Also, we’re thinking replacing our window over the sink in our 1995, with something like this.

I put the Slim Shade in upside down so I can lower it from the top and have it only part way open. It's great and an easy mod.

Don’t you have to open the door, then separate and reach around the screen door to move the shade up and down?

Yes, you do!
I got the slim shade package, but only used the tinted window. I have the pull down shade on the inside of the screen, so I didn’t need the shade section in the window frame.
Being able to see out the door window in a TC makes the interior seem larger. Additionally, it’s nice to see who is knocking at the door.
