I just received my TST Wide Screen color monitor yesterday and got it up and running on the bench. Wow! The display is real nice with larger digits and added color. However, I do have a few issues I'd like to report. The new monitor is now powered by a 5 volt mini plug just like what one uses for their smart phone (Android, not Apple). BIG E, Your new toilet the foot flush on ours in the 5'er is on the other side. The ball valve will act up with age. I am having to replace ours for the second. By the way the inside bowl is it plastic or china bowl? Ours is the china bow. Now the TC that is a different critter, does not hold its water it leaks through the slide mechanism straight into the black tank. Have you tried super fine steel wool to remove the rust stain on the floor. Just a thought I had. Nice work on the install...

My pot sits on a shelf so the hieght of the standard low potty is fine, but having the elongations sounds like a very good idea. I am going to get the dimensions of a suitable new elongated pot and figure if it would hinder the approach to the shower. It might make it a bit more awkward.

Capt PJ- We put the same toilet in our 920, and if it works in our small bathroom, it will surely work in your's. We used the Low Profile model (Thetford 42170) because our toilet also sits on a raised platform (my legs still dangle a bit). This was one of our better mods, but of course your results may vary... -Grayden

The PC rally is open to anyone who is interested, regardless of ownership or type of RV or membership in any group. Some don't even have a camper. The Princess Craft owners just love TCs and thus the TC oriented rally. Last year, we ended up with about a dozen LOA members there. It is a party with lots of other brand and size campers there. One of the events is 'open house' afternoon where owners allow groups to view their mods and camper layouts. It's almost worth going just for that,...

Jim, I fully understand your view point. But can I assume you use some 'Black Tank' treatment like most of us? We also try too use a minimal amount of water in the bowl, just enough to create a water block to fumes in the tank escaping. Well Poop- Pourri acts as a secondary barrier to control fumes, even with a minimal amount of water and in as much a Very Small amount of Poop Pourri! It's a double down on Black Tank odors! We took a little ride to the Rim today, got some great photos! Although the Aspen CG is closed, the trails are open and we hiked around CG and Lake. Lots of fishing going on today! Not sure if anyone caught any. Ran into a small herd of young elk, the girls had fun. Our campsites look great! Lots of shade! Here’s a few pics of our view.

Back in September I changed out the stock toilet in our camper, a Thetford Aqua Magic V hand flush for a Thetford Aqua Magic Residence foot flush. After two camping trips with the new toilet Cyndi and I both agree it was a good change. Here is the stock toilet I removed. And here is the new toilet.
