If you are asking how well the water rinses the bowl when flushing, it does and excellent job. If your question was purely a joke, well then......

Re: Thetford Aqua Magic Residence RV Toilet
BIG E, Your new toilet the foot flush on ours in the 5'er is on the other side. The ball valve will act up with age. I am having to replace ours for the second. By the way the inside bowl is it plastic or china bowl? Ours is the china bow. Now the TC that is a different critter, does not hold its water it leaks through the slide mechanism straight into the black tank. Have you tried super fine steel wool to remove the rust stain on the floor. Just a thought I had. Nice work on the install...

Re: Sistema Easy Egg Microwave Cooker
We have two of the Systema Noodle Bowls and love them. I like to toss some cut up Yukon Gold potatoes with a little olive oil, seasonings, diced onion, diced bell peppers and microwave them in one of the bowls for about six minutes in the Lance microwave. These containers also work well with canned soups. The fastenings are very user friendly and open easily. You're unlikely to end up wearing your meal when you take the lid off. Now you've got me thinking about this egg bowl....

Re: Sistema Easy Egg Microwave Cooker
Yes, the "32 ounce" size. Plenty of space to stir the contents before putting it in the microwave. Also works well with firm veggies like carrots and broccoli. Just put them in wet from being washed and they cook beautifully. (Or add a tiny bit of water if you buy them ready to cook.). I'm an energetic mixer, so always like a bowl with a little space in it. Haven't tried the bowl with actual noodle soup in it, lol.

Re: POO-POURRI Toilet Spray
Jim, I fully understand your view point. But can I assume you use some 'Black Tank' treatment like most of us? We also try too use a minimal amount of water in the bowl, just enough to create a water block to fumes in the tank escaping. Well Poop- Pourri acts as a secondary barrier to control fumes, even with a minimal amount of water and in as much a Very Small amount of Poop Pourri! It's a double down on Black Tank odors! Or a Win-Win odor fighter!! Happy Campers BobnRobin

Re: Nature's Head Composting Toilet
LJJ, my guess is that a Nature's Head would do fine in a wet bath. First, if the lid is closed, it comes down over the seat. Any water splashing on it will roll down the side. Second, if any water DID get into the bowl area, if the trap door for the solids is closed, you have a second layer of protection for your drying chamber. Any water in the bowl is diverted in with the liquids. I live in a cool, damp climate and wasn't sure if the head would work for me. So far, so good up here.

Re: Nature's Head Composting Toilet
If this is true why is good "aim" ( beyond wife's expectations ) even necessary? I'm also curious how much, umm, activity a Natures Head can handle over a period of time, before it's prematurely full.

Thetford Aqua Magic Residence RV Toilet
Back in September I changed out the stock toilet in our camper, a Thetford Aqua Magic V hand flush for a Thetford Aqua Magic Residence foot flush. After two camping trips with the new toilet Cyndi and I both agree it was a good change. Here is the stock toilet I removed. And here is the new toilet. Staying with the same brand helped to eliminate any dimensional problems. I looked at some of the offerings from Dometic but there would have been a clearance issue between the toilet and the back...

Re: Mr. Heater Portable Buddy LP heater (supplemental while awake heat)
I really like the Buddy. Just crack a vent and use when you are awake. All will be well...unless of course you trip while carrying a large mixing bowl full of gasoline right next to it. In which case all will most definitely be well. Just sayin'. Cheers!

Re: Happy Camper Holding Tank Treatment
Happy Camper is amazing stuff. We don't do any premix, but just put a scoop in the bowl and flush it. The enzymes feast on the organic material in the tank vs. deodorants that just mask the smell. Probably not a bad idea to use it in the grey tank as well, from time to time. There's no detriment in using Happy Camper.

I’ve read reviews both on Amazon and Costco regarding the Outland 18" Portable Propane Fire Bowl Premium and they are quite favorable. I don’t have any personal experience with them though.

Re: 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering
Jackalope, Please accept my apology for not seeing your post earlier. I have watched the 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering thread daily, but have forgotten to watch this one. Most of the activity is on that thread. Anyway, I am glad you were able to snag that spot, and I'm looking forward to seeing you there. You may want to read what is on that thread if you have the time. It is quite lengthy. Here is a recap of the events and instructions. It's fairly loosely organized. Thursday Sept. 21:...

Re: Why you want the Honda EU2200i Companion
The receptacles are 20 amp. Page 12 of the manual.(or look at the plug-NEMA 20 amp ) No need for the companion unless you are paralleling 2 generators or like the twistlok 30 amp plug.

Propane Quick Connect Splitter
With the increasing number of campgrounds restricting wood fires, it's time to buy a propane fire ring/bowl. A quick connect splitter seems like a handy item (fire ring on one, grill on the other). Can get a splitter with individual shut-offs for each side (total 3 shut-offs then) or just use the one shut-off on the trailer quick connect. Here's one with no shut-offs. What do you recommend?

Outland Firebowl
Have resisted buying a portable propane fire bowl. While making several campground reservations for a Spring trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone NPs, Idaho and Oregon, 75% of the campgrounds indicate no wood fires. And while on a recent 12-day September trip only one campground allowed wood fires. Two weeks ago I went ahead and purchased the Outland Firebowl (Premium with auto-ignition). It's a great addition to the home courtyard. Want a very last minute fire to sit around, it's good to go...

Currently on our first trip with the fire-bowl. Brought wood also. Very damp and drizzly so far, so first 2 nights we used our fire-bowl under the awning. Perfect.

Re: Outland Firebowl
They are lava rocks that come with the Outland, but I think they're towards the "Pummice" end of the lava scale, given the relatively light weight. Once the fire and rocks are good and hot, I don't notice any smell.

Re: Outland Firebowl
I got the Real lava rocks(heavy) and piled them higher and wider. To me they hold in the heat and burn off the smell better. I start the bowl on high then turn it to low after the rocks get hot. Just my observation. There is nothing like a real aromatic flaming wood fire, although no matter where I sit the smoke comes my way

Re: Outland Firebowl
Are Lava rocks different than what comes with the fire bowl? And it sounds like they work better at reducing burnt propane fumes?

Re: Outland Firebowl
We tend to use our Fire Bowl at about half or less of the max output on the dial after the first couple minutes at full output. Plenty of heat.

Re: A-ipower SC2300i from Costco
Is there a chance that it has an accessible screw on the bottom of the bowl that will let you drain the remaining fuel? The Honda has one. One other thing to do is to store it with gasoline in it and not run it dry. I do that with my riding mower and pressure washer. I just run a heavy concentration of SeaFoam in the gas tanks (about 2 oz per gallon) and make sure it has run long enough with the SeaFoam that the carb is left with SeaFoam treated gas. Both start up immediately come spring...

OUTLAND PORTABLE FIRE BOWL
We recently purchased an Outland Premium Fire Bowl from Costco and rather than connecting it directly to a propane bottle, I bought the pictured hose from Amazon for $17.99 and it works perfectly with no leaks. Since the propane bottles on the trailer that feed the Lance provided propane quick connect outlet have safety regulators, you do not need the regulator on the hose provided with the Outland Fire Bowl. It is an easy conversion with the new hose that has a 1/4" male quick connect on...

Re: OUTLAND PORTABLE FIRE BOWL
We love our Outland Fire Bowl (also from Costco) and our Little Red Fire Pit. We will take the one that fits the type of camping and packing we are doing for a particular trip. We keep a small 11# tank to use with the fire bowls so we can have the flexibility to move it around, but I like the idea of having a hose to use my Low Pressure connection on the TC, like we use now for our LP Olympian grill. thanks for sharing.

Re: OUTLAND PORTABLE FIRE BOWL
Thanks for the feedback. I just ordered the regulator with female quick connect so we can easily use the bowl in our back yard.

Re: OUTLAND PORTABLE FIRE BOWL
We usually take either an Outland Fire Bowl or Little Red Campfire propane fire pits with us as there seems to be so many real wood fire restrictions over the last few years...plus like many I do enjoy a smokeless fire now and then. We carry one of two smaller tanks with us to use with the fire pits so we can locate it where we want to be instead of near the TC’s exterior connection. We can keep the smaller (5#) tank in the rear cabinet and the larger (11.5#) under the dinette. The small...
