Is your place REALLY, REALLY large dog friendly? I can't go anywhere without my beast. See - she already has her winter wardrobe.

Maybe next year... Because of recent back surgery, we're getting off to a late start this year and are contemplating being at Cape Breton NS during that October time frame.

We have 3 large (sorta) dogs, but we have guests with dogs camping here all the time and never had a problem. They are very friendly with man and beast.

Marcia @acmaintainer and I sorta talked about going after we cancelled our plans of attending the Cape Breton Island NS Celtic Music Fest. Several truck problems have us turning south now.

We are considering your gathering. Our youngest son's birthday is the 14th of October and we usually celebrate it with him. He and his wife live in Slinger,WI not far to your south. It could very well work out!

Re: Carefree Awning Support Poles

DirtDawg Jeff ·
I bought those for my 1685 but never used 'em, since I was generally away from the trailer during Sep/Oct while kept at an RV park in White Mtns. Monsoon storms can whip up gusty winds in a flash, so keeping the awning retracted was prudent to avoid damage unless close by to monitor. The Stabiliz'rs will be included at no extra cost if a LOA member buys the trailer! @Lee and Lorie - I clicked the wrong button. At the moment we're a maybe! Looks like we'd be the third trailer. Edit 6.2.2019: Rough trip itinerary set and we plan to be there. @Lee and Lorie - is there room for our 2285? Last time I talked to you your area was under 3' of snow!

Harbor Freight Solar Panels

Thomas & Sue Ann ·
I am posting this here only because the product review was done by a Lance owner. Although the YouTube was posted in 2020. Harbor Freight just embedded the video in there advertising email sent a couple days ago. I am not endorsing the product; just nice seeing a Lance TT in the background. Re: Soft Start for Generator

MPH-CA ·
My Harbor Freight 2000w Predator will run my A/C at 6,800' since I added the MicroAir Easy Start. It's been 3 years. No problems yet. 300+ hours on the generator. So any 2000w+ should be satisfactory. I made a cable from the twist 30a connector to a standard 115/15a plug using a 10ga extension cord. Much easier to handle vs the heavy 30a power cable with the RV plug. I can also run lights and the TV with my Dish Tailgater using a small inverter. Hope this helps.

My Harbor Freight 2000w Predator has worked flawlessly for 4+ years. Power outages of 10 days this past winter and 13 days in January 2022 put 350+ hours (I added one of those $10 hour meters from Amazon). It ran more items than the iPower 2000w inverter generator. Highly recommend. Just too bad the price has gone up over $150. I paid $429 back in the day. Hope this helps.

This ADAPTER will adapt 20V Bauer batteries (Harbor Freight) to Dewalt Tools. Just a FYI if you're interested. I have a slew of HF Bauer stuff because they last long enough for my use. D

Re: Starlink Mini

I used those clamps for our flagpole mounts. I welded a tab on a section of chain link fence post in my scrap pile an added some nuts and bolts to secure the pole. It stays on the ladder during travel. I remove the pole, extend it and attach the flag and put it in the mounts from the ground. I believe it would work for a starlink antennae.

Re: Starlink Mini

JEG ·
I use a mast from when I bought a WeBoast, same as what can be purchased from Harbor Freight. I connect the mast to the ladder. This mast allows more height than the flagpole buddy, when needed, to clear surrounding trees. Also, depending on the spot I'm in, I can put the pole on the front of the trailer on the tongue if the tree clearance is better. I use worm clamps for the front. On the ladder I clamps from Amazon.
