We did get our Clam shelter screen tent for Christmas. We have only set it up twice, but with skeeter and fly season upon us, I'm sure we will find plenty of opportunities to use it. It really is quick and easy. We also got a 3 pack of wind screens. The downside is that it is bulky and heavy. (6'6" and 34#, I think) folded up and in the bag.

We've hemmed and hawed for 7 years or so on getting a kayak. Hard shell? Sit-on-top? Inflatable? Transporting? Solo or tandem? ?? Well folks, we're officially less than 30 days to our rally. We have 34 campers signed up for the rally! And maybe a few who made their own ressies. I've been thinking about a notional (and informal) agenda. Suggestions or comments/thoughts are welcome...nothing is carved in stone at this point. If there's sufficient interest, we can charter a bus or van for a wine-tasting excursion...please let me know if you'd be interested in sharing the cost...I have no idea how much that could be, but...

They work well. I have used mine to replace brakes,bearings ect. on my 34' gooseneck trailer. Luckily have not had to use it on the road yet! Update: Should have never said that I have not used on the road yet! Changed a flat tire on my gooseneck trailer in 102 Degree Heat last summer just 40 miles into a 2200 mile trip. Trailer scaled at 14K on double axle trailer and trailer aid worked flawlessly.!!

The receptacles are 20 amp. Page 12 of the manual.(or look at the plug-NEMA 20 amp ) No need for the companion unless you are paralleling 2 generators or like the twistlok 30 amp plug.

I had a transfer Flow 46 gallon tank in my 2014 Tundra and absolutely loved it. I see you have a diesel and unfortunately for us F-350 short bed gasser people, an aftermarket tank is not available. The truck came with a 34 gallon tank which after having the 46 gallon tank, is barely adequate.

We purchased an 1172 new built in Sept. 2021. We found that some items are 2023 so we know ours was one of the last built. I've answered what we experienced below, hope it helps.
