Sistema Easy Egg Microwave Cooker

I don't really like my eggs microwaved, but this little gem has me sold. It's by Sistema and a easy cleanup and at $6.99 it's a deal! Sistema Easy Egg

Ann & Bill ·
Wow, we are the little rally that could like the little train... I think I can, I think I can and now look where we are! Awesome! Is it time to start a conversation on a a schedule and suggestions on communal meals? There was a conversation on a breakfast but not sure what else has been discussed. if we have some suggestions, I will put together an itinerary to post in a common area. Friday afternoon/evening everyone will be arriving and setting up so an easy potluck of food and beverages...

We have two of the Systema Noodle Bowls and love them. I like to toss some cut up Yukon Gold potatoes with a little olive oil, seasonings, diced onion, diced bell peppers and microwave them in one of the bowls for about six minutes in the Lance microwave. These containers also work well with canned soups. The fastenings are very user friendly and open easily. You're unlikely to end up wearing your meal when you take the lid off. Now you've got me thinking about this egg bowl....

Yes, the "32 ounce" size. Plenty of space to stir the contents before putting it in the microwave. Also works well with firm veggies like carrots and broccoli. Just put them in wet from being washed and they cook beautifully. (Or add a tiny bit of water if you buy them ready to cook.). I'm an energetic mixer, so always like a bowl with a little space in it. Haven't tried the bowl with actual noodle soup in it, lol.

Well here is my review trying 1 egg 1st, then with 2 eggs. Followed instructions and added a little milk. Kinda rubbery not fluffy like in a frying pan.

Re: Nature's Head Composting Toilet

Now that I've had the unit in use for a full year perhaps I can finish my review. The Nature's Head works by separating liquids and solids. The liquids are very high in nitrogen. You can pour them into any toilet. (Or around trees.) The solids are dried. As they dry, the bacteria die off. All that is left is fiber. The solids can go into the landfill. Mine looked so innocuous that I used them as a soil amendment for a tree I was planting. The head is very easy to use and maintain. Due to the...

Grumpa, I can only second everything KeePee has said. It was the first mod I did on the 1995. Also if it goes a little dry on you just dump the coffee grounds in it every so often. No smell, no dump station needed. If really needed you can keep one of those "blue" sanitizing bars in the bathroom for that realistic black tank smell LOL. Sorry I actually thought about taking a picture last time I dumped it. I have used the moss and or coconut fiber, in ours I like the coconut fiber best and...

I will admit that the head takes up some precious bathroom real estate. The size did give me some challenges with the installation. Up here, there is either no dumping where I camp, or a single dump station where there is often a long line. If I was camping in full service sites routinely, the expense and hassle of the mod would have ruled it out for me. Though now that I've used it, I'd want it in any RV simply because I find it more pleasant. (I know that sounds pretty silly, but it's ...

FulltimeLancer ·
I have a 1995 on order and want to install a Nature's Head composting toilet. Do you have any hints, comments, etc on the installation in the 1995? The bathroom is small and there isn't a lot of space around the standard toilet. Did you have any issues in getting it to fit? Ideally I would like this to be one of my first mods so that the black tank is "pristine"

I also have a composting toilet thanks to Kaypee, so far my wife and I love it, me mostly because it is a quick dump into a garbage bag after many days of use. Yes as a beer drinker I do have two urine liquid bottles. Some day we will have to figure the liquid intake/outgoing LOL. I have done mod's on our NH to make it bathroom friendly for a 1995 which are posted on the "resource forum". Our black tank has never used.
