I assume you can’t walk on your roof? I saw a cool video where a guy, while using a step ladder, places his rolled up cover on the top front. By pulling a wound up rope, he unrolls the cover front to back. Then pulls the sides down. It worked really well for him. For my TCer, I tie a rope around the back of my cover with it folded about 3’ wide. I get on the roof front & pull the cover up, then simply pull it to the back; then drop the sides down

We are technically challenged when trying to sort out this sort of thing, so appreciate your recommendation. Would one of these also be appropriate to store photos off our Mac? We just got more advanced cameras and want to be able to have a photo library on a storage device so we don’t tie up so much space on the laptop. Preparing for a four-month trip in our Lance!

Good suggestions. On the breakaway coil, would you suggest the 4 or 6 foot one? I suppose the 6 footer would leave plenty of turning room, and with not a big difference in price I would hate to have it too short and activate it... I use a 14 inch zip tie over the hitch to keep the chains up, much like the diagram in your link. Thanks again for the links!
