Grumpa, I have to think there is something going on with your cover - agree, take it back under warranty. In your photo it looks almost like dry rot. We're in the second winter of using our ADCO cover, and we don't have anything like that. We do have a hole worn in the driver rear corner, but that's because I haven't padded it well enough. Update: I called the adco hotline, they asked that I e-mail pics which I did on the 18th and there claim dept. called today and said they would send another cover out to me. So there warrantee is good and I have no complaints. (cept maybee that when I took a pic of the warrantee label on the cover it said..... you guessed it. Made in china.)

I recently installed the AP Products Slimshade Door Windows on booth doors on my 2017 2185. Total install time was about 30 minutes for two windows. You will need some painters tape and a helper to hold the glass while you tighten the screws. I love the look of all tinted windows and being able to be able to see out of the doors adds an open feeling. The built in shade is great for privacy and keeping sunlight out. I purchased on Amazon for about $90 a piece. I highly recommend the windows.

Great job, Jeff. I have a little story about the B-D battery lock. We ordered one and I (Simon) took it to the trailer to 'eye it up'. Then I got distracted and moved the trailer somewhere else, and, you guessed it, the darn B-D lock fell off where I was 'eyeing it up', never to be seen again. I called B-D and pulled the pity trick and they gave me 10% off a new set. We have one (and love it) and my brother-in-law who has a truck camper has one. He puts his in a case (might be meant for skis) and straps it to his ladder for transport. Fortunately we can throw ours in the back of the truck. For anybody with doubts, We highly recommend the Clam!

We just retired our Clam after about 3 years of use. Out of the 3 years it's probably been set up over half that time. We've used it at home, camping and gate guarding in South Texas. Understand the Texas sun is brutal as are summer storms. Overall this is a good product, easy, as said by others, to setup, good in higher winds if staked well. Downsides are the material has suffered badly in the sun, does and has always leaked at the roof seams ( not bad, but enough to be annoying), and...

I used Peek polish on a piece of stainless steel yesterday. I was able to get a mirror finish on it quickly. I highly recommend it for metal polishing.
