Wow, all I can say is what a great group of people!! I had the pleasure of spending a night fireside at Pismo with this wonderful group and just got done telling Jack Cole (Lance President), how gracious and fun they were to hang with. I brought the all new 1052 with the ultraDECKplus bumper and think engunir might want to add this model to his Lance fleet! Next time I hope to bring my family and I look forward to seeing many of you at the Plant Tour Rally & BBQ in September! Koby &...

FYI: I met with Ron today. Their new to them 2011 1985 is in great shape. We went over some basics operational items. A lot of the questions brought back memories of when I was a new owner. I have offered to go camping with them (aka: a really small LOA gathering). :-) And......of course I showed him where the low point drains were located....as that was one of my first questions when joining the forum. LOL We had a great time and look forward to meeting up with Ron in the near future.

Re: Informal Lance Get Together at Woods Canyon Lake AZ "Aspen Campground" - June 2018

Rob Monsipapa ·
I thought I already replied but I'm looking and don't see it.... Sorry for the delay. These are non-electic (hook-up) sites. The camp ground has a number of locations within the camp ground to fill up with potable water so that's nice and on the way out there is a dump site for $7.... Generators are allowed, we carry one just in case but reply on our solar panels, love the solar panels! Each site has a paved pad, a picnic table, a grill and fire pit. If we don't get a good amount of rain...

Rob! We gave one away at RITV 3. Joe they work very well and a number of my Lance friends have installed them. One installed one in his 2285 with a 15k btu and runs it with a Honda 2000i. If caught in a hot area, we find an RV park with hookups! Happy Campers BobnRobin

We are going unless the forest gets shut down, at this point it doesn’t look likely but if there is another big fire in the area between now and then it could change. Everyone that’s going, please keep an eye on this page. I’ll post an update just before we head up on Wednesday afternoon or if anything changes that could impact this trip. I’ll post my phone here so if you want to call before you head out that’s cool with me. We will be keeping tabs on the Forest Service for all updates. Rob...

The trailmaster has been negligent in his duties. I completely forgot about this calendar forum. Good to see all the new folks who are going to join us. Look forward to meeting you. Kevin, I'm so happy you're going to join us. Just be sure to make a reservation and then post the site number in the rally thread. Ann, have you made a reservation? I see you have marked the calendar that you and Bill plan to be there, just haven't heard anything since.

Eric, I really have no preference, just slip me into the trailer section next to someone extra nice (as if they all aren't). Thanks, Roger Also, I know I paid for the two nights early on (2/19) but have been in Alaska since then and were unable to select a space number. Am I still going to be able to get a FHU site? Thx!

One of the of fun parts of attending the rally is driving to the factory in a huge convoy of Lance campers and trailers It's very impressive. The factory closes the street at the factory so we can park and they take pictures. I'm sure it is a great marketing tool/event for Lance. All I can say, its impressive to see all the campers and trailers lined up on the street. However based on the number that it appears that have signed up this year we may need to split up the convey. Wait till you...
