Sistema Easy Egg Microwave Cooker
I don't really like my eggs microwaved, but this little gem has me sold. It's by Sistema and a easy cleanup and at $6.99 it's a deal! Sistema Easy Egg

Re: 2014 Pismo Beach Rally - 4/3/2014 - 4/8/2014
Hi Engunir, The rally will probably only have Lance owners and anyone else who is interested in Lance are always welcome to stop by or camp with us! We don't have any vendors scheduled, but they're always welcome. Our knowledge base is pretty experienced, so if you or any attendees have any questions we are always there to answer any questions. To date, we have a whale watching trip planned and then there are always wine tasting trips, potluck dinners and such. We also plan on driving at...

B-D RV Battery Lock (12-volt)
B-D RV Battery Lock: http://www.b-drvbatterylock.com/ Even though I/we have never ever had an issue with a battery "walking away" in the 15+ years that we have been trailer camping I have been intrigued whenever I would see this simple battery...

TST TPMS New and Improved Wide Screen Color Monitor
I just received my TST Wide Screen color monitor yesterday and got it up and running on the bench. Wow! The display is real nice with larger digits and added color. However, I do have a few issues I'd like to report. The new monitor is now powered by a 5 volt mini plug just like what one uses for their smart phone (Android, not Apple). This presents a challenge as I had the previous 12 volt monochrome monitor's power cord hard wired into the overhead console in my Tundra which was a nice...

Re: iBALL Wireless Trailer Hitch Camera
I absolutely love my iball. I've had a few trailer hook-up aids, but this is by far the best. I have been using it for about 1-1/2 years and trailer hookup, for me, is a lot easier than getting directions from a partner, as everyone thinks left and right differently, especially with hand signals. When the 9 volt battery starts getting a little low, there tends to be a bit of static, but a quick battery change remedies the static condition. If anyone at the Lone Pine Rally wants to try it,...

Re: Sistema Easy Egg Microwave Cooker
We have two of the Systema Noodle Bowls and love them. I like to toss some cut up Yukon Gold potatoes with a little olive oil, seasonings, diced onion, diced bell peppers and microwave them in one of the bowls for about six minutes in the Lance microwave. These containers also work well with canned soups. The fastenings are very user friendly and open easily. You're unlikely to end up wearing your meal when you take the lid off. Now you've got me thinking about this egg bowl....

You mean the red larger than a coffee cup size? Yo Go Gary!!!!!

Re: Sistema Easy Egg Microwave Cooker
Yes, the "32 ounce" size. Plenty of space to stir the contents before putting it in the microwave. Also works well with firm veggies like carrots and broccoli. Just put them in wet from being washed and they cook beautifully. (Or add a tiny bit of water if you buy them ready to cook.). I'm an energetic mixer, so always like a bowl with a little space in it. Haven't tried the bowl with actual noodle soup in it, lol.

Well here is my review trying 1 egg 1st, then with 2 eggs. Followed instructions and added a little milk. Kinda rubbery not fluffy like in a frying pan.

I don't add any milk and I also use cheese a lil dab of butter and maybe some Bac-o-bits and they're good enough for my eating anyway! WoodGlue

Re: Trojan 30XHS 12-volt group 30 deep-cycle battery (130 AH)
Good to know Brian. Either one - the Trojan 30XHS & the Trojan SCS225 (which Bruce H. has and is very happy with) - are AH monsters and a great choice for a single 12-volt battery situation. As explained to me, this one seemed to make slightly more sense for an RV battery for our use - dry camping anywhere from 3 to 20 nights at a time.

Re: Trojan 30XHS 12-volt group 30 deep-cycle battery (130 AH)
A good choice! Is the 66-70 lb weight ever an issue being too much for one person to handle alone? The SCS225 battery is more of a marine battery, meaning it is designed to deliver high amps. Do you know how your 30xhs bulk, float, and equalize voltages compare to what your converter/charger puts out, or your solar charger if you have one?

Re: Trojan 30XHS 12-volt group 30 deep-cycle battery (130 AH)
Red, I am in the process of buying the same battery and a battery box. According to specs, t he atwood box you use is about 1/10 of an inch shorter in length than this battery, so I was going to buy a larger box, that has a bit too much extra room, and I am concerned it might not fit in the 1575 mounting area due to more width (I dont have my trailer yet so cant measure it). Is it a very tight fit lengthwise, perhaps a concern, or perhaps limiting tthe necessary ventilation?

Re: Trojan 30XHS 12-volt group 30 deep-cycle battery (130 AH)
Cris and Krista, the question about equalozing is a good one. I am not an expert, but I do think Imhave a good answer. Of course, the Lance supplied charge controller does not provide an equalizing charge comparible with this Trajan battery. And batteries are all, different in terms or bulk, float and equalize charge requirements. So no matter what battery you have, it most likely is not truly compatible with the charge controller. The equalize charge is a special case on 12 flooded cell and...

Hey Red.. How is the 30XHS working out.. I have a 1985 and like the weight savings over (2) 6 volt batteries.. I occasionally do an overnighter at Cracker Barrell but usually am hooked up at a State Park, etc. Thanks, Joe

Trojan 30XHS 12-volt group 30 deep-cycle battery (130 AH)
Picked up one of these today - http://www.trojanbattery.com/product/30xhs/ With our 1575 and the way that we load it (tongue-mounted bike rack with 3 bikes & 7.5 gallon/30 lb. LP tank) we run with a single battery on the tongue. *We dry camp and have solar &/or generator's depending upon the trip so a single battery has worked well for us for almost 16 years now. Through my work I accrue points towards purchases at certain places. One of them being Battery Systems (where I only had 4...

Koolatron W75 Kool Wheeler
We've had This Guy since before we got the Lance (2013). It's proved really good at keeping things cool, with an up to 40 degrees difference between outside temps and cooler temps. It draws about 5 amps at 12 VDC, so a 100 watt solar panel can keep up with it, and even as an unpowered cooler, it's well insulated. We got the Koolatron 110 volt adapter, which has just this last trip failed, and we're testing a generic 10 amp replacement, which seems to be working well. We also got the...

Ryobi system tire inflator
Just bought one of these from Home Depot . I already own one of Ryobi's 18 volt ONE+ drill/drivers with two batteries, so it was a bit of a no-brainer. As it turned out, when I went to the service desk at Home Despot, they didn't have it handy, so they gave me $10 off because we had to wait for ages whilst they located one. So, it cost me $15 plus tax. Now, I already own a Viair 12V DC inflator, which has been great, except that unraveling the 12 V cable and 'raveling' it back up is a bit of...
