Re: Informal Lance Get Together at Woods Canyon Lake AZ "Aspen Campground" - June 2018
I arrived in Mesa a bit after 1pm. When I hooked up to electricity, everything is working great - except the refrigerator. I've run some checks with the help of Rick at Lance Service and it looks like I have a circuit board failure. I phoned Tom's Camperland and they will not work on a unit that wasn't sold by them! Bad on Tom's Camperland!!!! And Camping World would have to order the part - a three week wait! Looks like I'll be heading back to Yuma tomorrow morning. If anybody wants to come...

Re: Informal Lance Get Together at Woods Canyon Lake AZ "Aspen Campground" - June 2018
Wow, sorry to hear that... I'm surprised about Tom's, we have been going there for years and they always take care of us. I would think warranty work no matter where the rig came from would not be an issue! I'll have to find out what their policy is. CALL ME 480-250-5332 Got 2 good repair companies here in the valley that work on Lance and do warranty repairs. Tom's uses them also when they get slammed with work. 1st choice Timothy at Primitive RV 602-446-3576 2nd choice Ben 480-276-0906

Re: Good Sam RV GPS
We are on our second Garmin Nuvi. Have not had any problems with either. The battery on first one refused to take a charge after several years, so we replaced it last year with another Nuvi also with the lifetime maps. It allows us to find nearest rest area, restaurants, fuels, stores, alternate routes, traffic, etc., while traveling or after set-up. Tried 2 Tom Toms before buying our first Nuvi, both failed right out of the box. Didn't want to see if the third time was the charm.

Re: Advanced Elements Lagoon 2 inflatable recreational tandem kayak
Gd - Nice! We have stayed there twice, but the last was in 2009. John McCain (AZ senator) stayed one night while we were there. Another time my favorite camping/outdoors writer - Tom Stienstra - was there. Meeting Tom was a treat for sure! We now stay at Sugar Pine Point SP when in the area. Enjoy your stay!!!

Re: LOA 6th Annual East Coast Rally (ECR)
Hello All, Well my husband Tom and I will be going to the Pa. Rally. It will be so nice to meet some of you folks. We will not be there till Friday , and hope that we get our new Lectricebikes by then. Hopefully by August after numerous trips, and a week in Maine in July, I will be able to back our Lance into a site like a pro! See you all there!

Re: WeBoost (Wilson Electronics) Drive 4GM Cell Signal Booster
Tom, it's not total magic, but close to it and it. Often it will save the day when you think you have no phone service. And, it improves your mobile hot spot for the internet. Last month with Setters in the Smokies, we had no phone signal. The Speedboost worked in both our campers and we were also able to make a mobile hot spot with our phones because of it. Without it, no dice. I had forgotten the metal ground plane for the magnetic mount antenna so we improvised by sticking the antenna to...

Tom, your signal acquisition success is what I meant when I said it often saves the day! Communication-wise, you literally got something out of what was otherwise...nothing.

Re: Ocean Grove 2nd Annual Lance Camper Rally
I wholeheartedly agree with the comments just posted by Tom Adams. This was my first Lance Rally and the entire staff went above and beyond to provide a super time. I really enjoyed meeting a wonderful group of Lance owners from all over the country, and looking forward to next year. Safe travels everyone. Ed Ripper Lance 1475

Re: Happy Camper Holding Tank Treatment
Good day From Mesa. Thanks for the info, have been looking at Happy Camper and will give it try in our 2465 when we get it. One question, do you premix it before adding it to to the tank? And do you use some in the gray tank? Were coming from a Whitewater Retro that has small tanks and looking for info on keeping the 45 gal tanks fresh on our unit.

Re: Collection @ Quartzite Jan 17-24, 2019
Yes Tom & Cherie. Judging by the responses on this thread there will be quite a few Lance owners in Quartzsite in mid January. Some for the weather (snowbirds) some stopping (to shop and visit) on their way to RITV. Everyone is welcome! Bob

There’s a thread about 2020 Quartzsite collection here: https://community.lanceowners.org/topic/3rd-annual-quartzsite-collection-january-2020 I’ll post coordinates when I occupy the spot on the 9th, or if someone gets there first before the 9th, let me know so we can compare notes if they aren’t sure where the spot we want is. I’ll be in the area before the 9th and will move over then to stay legal for the 14 day free limit. It’s all very informal, just come and hang out with other Lance...

Re: Collection @ Quartzite Jan 17-24, 2019
Dave and Jerri, Normally only Gathering and Rallys are on the calendar. Not sure of your question, but the Quartzsite collection is an informal gathering of Lance owners in Quartzsite, AZ in January. It coincideds with 2 events, the Quartzsite giant RV show and RITV (Usery Reginial Park Mesa, AZ.) , which occur in mid January each year. If read this thread you'll get most the details. If you want to join us you are more than welcome!! Bob
