Bissel 3 in 1 vacuum
I've been using this vacuum in my TT for almost a year now. (I'm a full-timer.) It's light weight, versatile, and, fits underneath the bed. I have two dogs and a 4 x 6 rug in the kitchen area so it's been put to the test. It's strong enough to pick up the dog fur, but I can still vacuum small area rugs at the door and in the bathroom without them getting sucked up into the vacuum. The handle with vacuum, sans floor attachment, is great for getting the edges...

Re: Collection @ Quartzite Jan 17-24, 2019
We love camping on the BLM land at Quartzite hope to join the group at that time please send GPS coordinate. When we go we like to stay at Dome Rock BLM campground. Very quite and peaceful lots of open space and not far from town. Free to stay there up to two weeks just have to register with the host and then park anywhere you want. The ground is hard pack so you dont have to worry about getting stuck in the sand. Also there is places in town to get water and depending on how long you plan...

Re: Dometic LP GasChecker (LPGC10)
Yep & Yep mine had no thermo grease and it shelf destructed when I removed it the fourth time. It was the old style w/ a 3 year warranty - They replaced it for me - FREE. Most happy with it.

Re: Dometic LP GasChecker (LPGC10)
Don't know about the newer version. On my older version Mopeka says to apply a very, very thin coat of thermo grease to keep the rubber sensor from sticking to the paint other wise the sensor might stick and get pulled out when removing. Also a good idea to sand most of the paint off where the sensor sticks. Oh, very important..when removing carefully twist the sensor, do not just pull off.

Re: threaded tent pegs
Ian, great tip, I like it ! As you mentioned sand maybe not so much, but for a lot of locations this seems like it would be a very good solution. I'm a big stake bender.

threaded tent pegs
How many of you have tried to secure a guy line for your awning or secure your patio matt only to have the pegs bend, brake or get stuck in the ground when the time come to break camp. Enter the 8" timber lock bolt kit. The 8" timberlock bolt kit comes with 12 x 8" bolts and a bolt driver to fit your battery operated 1/2" or 3/8" drill. Couple a bolt with a 1/2" washer I use stainless steel), use your electric drill and drive the bolts through a grommet in your matt or a loop in your guy...

Re: Carefree Awning Support Poles
For sand I use steel concrete form stakes (Home Depot) for my easy up. Drilled a hole and added an eye bolt for the rope. Should be good for this application as well.

Re: Solo Stove Bonfire
Speaking of Solo Stove accessories... A nice new one is available... A cast-iron grill: The picture above is from the solostove.com website. They just started shipping the pre-orders. I pre-ordered a while back, and mine arrived this week. I haven't had a chance to use yet, but it looks pretty good. The casting has some little bit rough areas that I'll sand on to smooth out. Then I want to season up the cast-iron before I cook on it. As was said earlier, I'll state once again, pricey, but...
