RV Sleeping Systems Shootout, Bedmaid vs. RV Superbag

R&V Spiker ·
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, our RV Superbag arrived. We have been using a Bedmaid for a few years and have now slept in both and can comment as to the qualities each provides. Bedmaid $239.00 We have thoroughly enjoyed this product. The added ease it affords when folding up the bed and deploying the convertible sofa is a real hit. Torklift Lower StableLoads on a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 towing a Lance 1575

Red Barchetta ·

Re: Trojan 30XHS 12-volt group 30 deep-cycle battery (130 AH)

brianV ·
Yep. Only adds ~15# to the tongue, but substantially more Ah over a stock group 27, and rated to 600 charge/discharge cycles at 50% DoD to boot. As a single 12v battery solution, they're hard to beat.

Re: Dometic LP GasChecker (LPGC10)

I have a Truma. I bought it and then had one donated for last years 50/50 rally. I'm not sure who won it but I'll bring mine up to the Big 26 if anyone wants to try it. I haven't had much luck with it. I think it might be the gauge mechanism in the tank causing problems. It always reads low even with a full tank.
