We are due to get our new Lance 1995 a few days before this event. Newbies. What a way to get started! It was a no brainer...plus it's my birthday. My husband is off the hook, new TT, vacation, concert, air show and meeting new friends. He's already done his shopping. We didn't know what SWAG was either?!! Really excited.

I thought I already replied but I'm looking and don't see it.... Sorry for the delay. These are non-electic (hook-up) sites. The camp ground has a number of locations within the camp ground to fill up with potable water so that's nice and on the way out there is a dump site for $7.... Generators are allowed, we carry one just in case but reply on our solar panels, love the solar panels! Each site has a paved pad, a picnic table, a grill and fire pit. If we don't get a good amount of rain...

I just saw this. Was it ever posted in the discussion? Wish I could have made it but it's only a week apart from the annual SCIO. I've been trying for the past 3 years to have someone do a GTG who lives in CO. All I got was places to camp but no one wanted to set it up. Thank you Rob for doing this. My U.S. map looks like it's missing a tooth and it's CO. I'm planning on a trip there this year so I'll keep in touch, maybe we can hook up since you know the places....

Bummer, things always come up when you least expect it. My wife and I go up every month for about 5 days starting on this trip in June. It’s how we beat the heat in Phoenix... i’ll Post our next trip this weekend. Since it is so close to the valley the sites get booked up quickly. Fall could be a really nice trip with the colores changing. These was someone who was coming up and didn’t have a reservation. I would hook up with them and see if they can reserve it just after you cancel. Think...

Wow, I’m sitting here on the last night of the Woods Canyon Lake trip and thinking I don’t want to go back the the valley. Met some truly great people, laughed a lot, got a lot of photos to be posed here. Thanks to everyone that made the trip. Without all of you the memories wouldn’t be the same. We had a few windy days but the temps at night were great and not too hot during the day. Loved, loved, loved the 6pm happy hour! What a great time. We registered for a dry camp spot but they are not listed on the map. Our first time, thus have no idea what to specify. So...just give us a decent spot that is not too difficult to back in. Please put us on a waiting list for full hook-ups should such a possibility occur. Thank you, Ralph

There are a few hook up sites at the factory. At the last factory tour the Lance people asked if anyone needed hook ups for their camper to run A/C for pets during the tour. If its going to be hot like it was last time your pet would be better off in a cooled camper than inside that hot factory.

I just read a post from someone that mentioned that the factory had some full hookups. We do have a little dog that goes with us when ever we go on road trips. At the KAO we are dry camping I will imagine it will be hot. Will they allow us to use the hook ups at the factory if we leave the campground and park it at the factory during the tour?

We have 3 dogs and the heat would be of a concern to us. If anyone has has more info about getting a hook-up at the factory the day of the tour, please let us know. Thank you!

Hi all just got back from the rally at The Flying Flags. We were able to get to go due to a last minute cancellation! Sue and I had a very enjoyable time. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. We were really glad we got to go. This event was a lot of FIRSTS for us. 1st time attending a rally, 1st time camping with hook ups... nice, 1st. time taking the 975 slide in off the truck!, 1st time putting back on by myself. reminder if you need to cancel please contact the group leaders they can arrange a transfer vs a site cancellation and some stranger getting the spot bapsjp posted: I just updated the hook-up site list (back on page 2) based on the updates in this thread.
