Re: Lance Factory Tour and BBQ Rally

Eric Dye ·
I spoke to the campground today. They fixed the problem where people could register for a site over the internet. No one can register to camp that weekend except though our LOA process. The KOA also released more sites to us today and I will be communicating with the Dry Campers to see if they want to upgrade to FH. I am expecting more sites to open as it gets closer. Some people are at KOA on a monthly basis and as soon as they leave, the KOA will save that site for us that weekend. Thanks ...

I just read a post from someone that mentioned that the factory had some full hookups. We do have a little dog that goes with us when ever we go on road trips. At the KAO we are dry camping I will imagine it will be hot. Will they allow us to use the hook ups at the factory if we leave the campground and park it at the factory during the tour?

Look forward to meeting new Lance Owners. FYI! Also those of you with dogs, four legged kids, and maybe need a place to safely leave them for a few hours, doggie day care. Such a great time! Everyone, and I truly mean everyone, was as fabulous as you would expect. I'll post all of my thoughts on that in the appropriate after-party thread when it shows itself. However, I need to discuss trains, raccoons, coyotes, & lions. Yep, you read that right - raccoons. So after 2 nights in a tent I actually got used to the continuous sounds of trains, coyotes, & lions, but this morning at 5:10 when I crawled out of my tent to start loading my car for the drive...

The West coast rallies typically have at least twice as many trailers as campers. We haven't attended an East coast rally...... Yet. I find the rallies a great place to compare mods, learn about new "must have" accessories, share good food, and just visit with some of the nicest people anywhere. Have Fun

We have never attended a rally before and don't know what to expect. Is there a schedule of events? Any seminars? Meal plans? Are we free to attend attractions in the area or do we need to be on site most of the time? I have made reservations for three couples today to camp at the the White Oak Campground for the days of the rally.

We love camping on the BLM land at Quartzite hope to join the group at that time please send GPS coordinate. When we go we like to stay at Dome Rock BLM campground. Very quite and peaceful lots of open space and not far from town. Free to stay there up to two weeks just have to register with the host and then park anywhere you want. The ground is hard pack so you dont have to worry about getting stuck in the sand. Also there is places in town to get water and depending on how long you plan...

@Duncan&Dawn Several people have asked about attending RITV III without camping over the weekend. The schedule of events is posted in the Discussion Topic (click here) and covers Thursday check-in through Sunday mornings departure. If you are not camping, you have to pay the park ranger $6 for a day pass each day you come into the park. Once inside, you would drive to the Group Area A & B campground and check-in at the Ramada in Group A. The Rally fee is $20 and includes a ticket to...

Hi, Bill -- For dry camping in the group site, send a PM to Shannon & Bruce Pound (Bapsjp) or check Maricopacountyparks.org for online registration in the family campground. The rally is at White Tank Mountain County Park. I just checked the availability, and as of right now, the family campground (with hookups) is full, but there's a likelihood someone will cancel. Hope you can come!

Re: RITV5

remember if you have a park reservation and your plans change do not cancel with the park this way another LOA member can be guaranteed the spot and you still get the refund see below "bapsjp posted: As expected the family campground is now full for the Rally weekend. It is permissible to transfer reservations between parties so if your plans change please PM me before cancelling your reservation." Frank you can see the list here https://community.lanceowners.org/topic/ritv5
