Re: Clam Six Pack 1660 Mag Screen Tent (or the Worlds easiest/fastest screen room)

Red Barchetta ·
We actually are using 2 of the privacy screens this trip. Just to shield us from the cg loop road. We've only needed them for a handful of trips in the 3 years that we've had this fantastic screen tent. Nice to have when needed.

Find me Spot (Spot Gen 3)

Woodglue turned me on to this device. https://www.amazon.com/Spot-Satellite-SPOT-Gen3-Messenger/dp/B00C8S8S4W/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 I bought one and paid for the annual monitoring ($150) and so far love it. I used it on my trip out to Chino Valley AZ and then to the mountains of Santa Fe. Both had no cell service. It basically receives AND transmits via satellite so you don't have to have cell reception to get rudimentary communications out. There are 5 buttons on the thing you...

Re: Solo Stove Bonfire

Great video. I finally unboxed mine. Very pleased with the way the product is built. Looking forward to testing it out very soon. Big positive is, when on its side in the carry bag, it passes through the door of the camper and stores away nicely under the dinette for travel. Might have someone weld a loop on it so I can lock it up when not at camp. Unfortunately there are too many dishonest people for me to feel comfortable leaving is out while we're on the water all day. Rob

Welding on a security loop is a very good idea.

threaded tent pegs

Waymark, Ian ·
How many of you have tried to secure a guy line for your awning or secure your patio matt only to have the pegs bend, brake or get stuck in the ground when the time come to break camp. Enter the 8" timber lock bolt kit. The 8" timberlock bolt kit comes with 12 x 8" bolts and a bolt driver to fit your battery operated 1/2" or 3/8" drill. Couple a bolt with a 1/2" washer I use stainless steel), use your electric drill and drive the bolts through a grommet in your matt or a loop in your guy...
