We recently returned from a 3-week trip. On 2 separate occasions we went 5 nights without charging up the battery with the generator. Both times we could have easily gotten another night out of the battery as the water pump hadn't yet started to cause the lights to flicker or cause the stereo to pause a dvd while watching a movie (both good indicators that a battery is getting low).

I have many DVD's and TV Shows ripped to digital video in .mp4or .mkv formats.  I have a 2014 Lance 1191 with the Jensen entertainment system.  Both the TV and the Stereo have USB connections, but alas, they don't play video, just some audio...

Have you tried it in USB port on the JBL stereo in your rig? Wondering if it works the same.

Just did - the Jensen radio display read 'USB Load'. As we have no television attached to the Jensen, that stopped the experiment, right there. We have other solutions for video/audio in the trailer.

Bruce - I plug it in to the back of the tv (the audio plays through the stereo though). *The HDMI socket on our 2014 stereo is in the back of the stereo inside the cabinet. Unfortunately, it looks like Samsung doesn't install the SlimPort chip in their devices so I don't think it would work with your phone. Be sure to post your findings when your adapter arrives.

Yes it does Randy. However, I prefer to connect my phone (using the 3.5mm jack cable) to the Jensen stereo for music. No need for the tv in the equation.

Our 1885 is listed as a 2014, but was built in 2013. Our slide very likely is the same as your 2385. What are you needing to know? We did have to have the slide bolted into the wall as it had an issue with the frame pulling away from the outer wall. We did lighten the load in the drawers to less than 50 lbs each, which is what Lance recommends, this includes the outer storage area. Otherwise, we haven't had problems with it.
