Great Anti Corrosion and Lube Product

Doug P ·
Oops, I had originally posted this in the wrong Forum area... A fellow Lance member pointed me to the correct Forum..... I wanted to share this product with fellow Lance owners. About 20 years ago I came across this product at a bike show for lubricating parts on a racing bike. I have used this product ever since to lubricate and protect about anything that is made out of bare metal. This product was developed for Boeing aircraft to lubricate and protect metal hinges and other items on an...

Bissel 3 in 1 vacuum

SilverHooligan ·
I've been using this vacuum in my TT for almost a year now. (I'm a full-timer.)  It's light weight, versatile, and, fits underneath the bed. I have two dogs and a 4 x 6 rug in the kitchen area so it's been put to the test.  It's strong enough to pick up the dog fur, but I can still vacuum small area rugs at the door and in the bathroom without them getting sucked up into the vacuum. The handle with vacuum, sans floor attachment, is great for getting the edges...

Chemical Guys - TORQ Foam Cannon & Honeydew Snow Foam Wash

HavaBrew22 ·
How It Works: Professional detailers and hardcore enthusiasts wash dirt from cars as gently as possible. The wrong touch pushes dirt around and grinds ugly scratches and swirls into the shiny finish. The TORQ Professional Foam Cannon Snow Foamer adds a blanket of super-slick and slippery car wash suds to lubricate any abrasive dirt particles. Prepare the TORQ Foam Cannon by filling the soap solution tank with water, then add 1-3 ounces of your favorite Chemical Guys car wash soap. Gently...

Re: Folding Bikes

Aaron, Cool bikes! Brownbear, excellent point about the ride with the small wheels. As well as being a little more "squirrely", I'd like to mention they also give a more "harsh" ride. Bicycle wheels provide a good amount of shock absorption, the smaller the wheel, the less shock absorption. While bicycle touring on Vancouver Island, I ran across several "rails to trails" (railroad lines turned into bicycle paths) which still had RR ties in place...those can give a good beating on a small...

Re: Folding Bikes

Bicycles are like canoes and kayaks. There are many makes and models with different price ranges and quality, serving different purposes. There is not a one size fits all. First decide on the type of riding you intend to do. We started with hybrid bicycles. Not especially great for road riding or mountain biking but they got us out and where we wanted to go...mainly short distances riding comfortably upright on both pavement and dirt and a workout on longer distances. And, the gearing was...

Re: WeatherTech FloorLiners

R&V Spiker ·
Yes, the Huskys are thicker and are also a ribbed design meaning there's more room for dirt and gravel. They are also more flexible and are easier to remove and install. The material is softer and just feels better, especially when I'm in my socks or barefoot. They get great reviews on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=U...f=pd_sl_3ks66d0a03_p

Agree. I've had both as well, starting with Huskys in our '97 Explorer. I had WeatherTechs in my '09 F-150. They started to curl in and loose their fit. I went back to Husky for the '17 F-50.

Re: BOLT Receiver Lock

TJeeper ·
I have 3 Bolt locks to secure my flat tow hitch equipment. I went with the Bolt locks to get some keys off my ring, and hoping this lock will be more reliable than the cheaper hitch pin locks I had before (home depot specials). The Bolt locks have been on my rig now for more than a year, are working perfectly, and seem to be resistant to highway dirt and crud. Before buying the Bolt locks, I was seeing at least one lock failure a year which was a major pain. The cheapo pin locks from the big...
