Plenty of room... At the gate, they take check or cash. Tell them you are with the truck camper group and they will guide you back here.

Re: Smarter Tools 2000iQ Generator

So here's where we are... 1. I turkey basted out about 1/4 of the tank of gas before restarting to assure I wouldn't be overfull. 2. Played with the choke as directed here. 3. My husband tried starting the gen as I read him the directions (didn't want to miss a step!). 4. We pulled off the side panel to check if there was a spark plug in the gen (there was). And nothing happened. Just a little blub, blub, blub. Completely emptied the gas tank (managed to get it the gas backinto our vehicle),...

And I forgot the most important lesson my husband and I learned...if we ever want to exceed the bank's limit on ATM withdrawals in a 24 hour period, just use a credit card to order from Costco online - of a large purchase - and return the item to Costco. Cash back, no charge! Lee-Ann

Excellent review and photos. I have longed for one of these devices but just haven't "longed" hard enough to shell out that much cash. I looked at your warehouse deals link and there's nothing offered right now. Question, you indicated that the external and internal antennas need to have a certain distance between them to prevent oscillation? Can you report what that distance might be?

Re: TireMinder Smart TPMS - Smartphone Based Tire Pressure Monitor for RVs

If you were to go old school like I prefer to do (I even still write checks in some cases & pay cash whenever possible) and call them direct you would find that they - the manufacturer of this TPMS - are absolutely not out of stock as well as you just might be happily surprised at the final shipped-to-your-door price with a little human interaction. And if that still isn't your cup of tea Amazon beats both of the places you posted above. Not much more I can add so do with the info. what...

Good job on the write up. I really believe these should be included when the jacks are installed. For the little bit of cash that they cost they are worth it. When I went to install them, one of my jacks needed to be drilled/reamed out a little. Other than that great cheap addition.

The Lowest Prices for Propane

Lancer18 ·
We have used Tractor Supply as a propane source when on the road. We have also learned that propane dealers usually have the lowest prices. About a week ago we filled at the Tractor Supply in Hurricane UT for $3.89/gallon. I went to refill today again at Tractor Supply but was unsuccessful because their meter was malfunctioning. We found B&L Propane on the northern end of Hurricane in State Route 9. Their charge was $2.81 paid by a credit card and $2.71 cash. Last week B&L would have...

Smash and Grab Product Review

Buckmountain ·
It drives me nuts when I see a news report about flash mobs attacking big box stores and stealing hundreds of items with impunity. Recently LOA covered the topic of catalytic converter theft. Another major law-breaker problem is smash and grab where perps break car windows and quickly exit with valuables. Unfortunately, RVers often carry some pretty expensive stuff: GPS, TPMS monitors, digital cameras/GoPro, tools, camping/fishing/hunting gear, extra cash, etc., i.e., a target rich...

Our Minder repeater is mounted in the lower forward nose cone of our 2285. Just inside the driver side storage pass-through door there will be a square panel covering a generously sized hole where one can grab 12V power from the trailer's running lights. I used Velcro to mount it against the back of the nose material. For future-proof troubleshooting purposes I covered the access hole with clear desk/floor protector so I can easily see the green light confirming the repeater is on.
