Re: Peek Polish
I used Peek polish on a piece of stainless steel yesterday. I was able to get a mirror finish on it quickly. I highly recommend it for metal polishing.

Chemical Guys - TORQ Foam Cannon & Honeydew Snow Foam Wash
How It Works: Professional detailers and hardcore enthusiasts wash dirt from cars as gently as possible. The wrong touch pushes dirt around and grinds ugly scratches and swirls into the shiny finish. The TORQ Professional Foam Cannon Snow Foamer adds a blanket of super-slick and slippery car wash suds to lubricate any abrasive dirt particles. Prepare the TORQ Foam Cannon by filling the soap solution tank with water, then add 1-3 ounces of your favorite Chemical Guys car wash soap. Gently...

Re: Nature's Head Composting Toilet
Now that I've had the unit in use for a full year perhaps I can finish my review. The Nature's Head works by separating liquids and solids. The liquids are very high in nitrogen. You can pour them into any toilet. (Or around trees.) The solids are dried. As they dry, the bacteria die off. All that is left is fiber. The solids can go into the landfill. Mine looked so innocuous that I used them as a soil amendment for a tree I was planting. The head is very easy to use and maintain. Due to the...

Spray on ceramic wax
I've been using Meguiar's Flagship Marine Wax on my 2295. The results have been good but it does take awhile to complete the job. Have any of you used a spray on ceramic wax on your Lance? Do they work? Do they bond with the paint like they do on a car or truck? Do they harm the finish in any way? Any recommendations on brand? Any tips and/or tricks? All responses will be appreciated. Thank you all. -Steve Forsberg

Re: Adco tyvek cover review
When we had a popup, we kept it covered. We had Adco, and some other brand I can't remember. 2-3 years was all we got out of them even with patching them. One no-name lasted 3 months and literally fell apart. We got a refund and bought an Adco. We decided that even though we like to protect the finish, on a cost/year basis and the fact that it is kind of a PITA to uncover and recover it every time we use it, we decided to not cover our Lance. We'll see in a few years whether we think we were...

Re: Big E's List Of Recommended Camping Stuff
I will, and do cook bacon, when camping (good bacon, as Jacster will agree )....but I will start the day before I leave, and broil about 3 lb and not totally finish it ,and let it cool and wrap it in a paper towel and put it in a bread bag or zip lock bags and keep in the fridge....then when It's time to start the Genny for a battery boost in the morning, I will Micro some ....cost far less(well maybe not) then buying the pre-cooked, and (but) is usually better. once it is all though I will...

Re: Big E's List Of Recommended Camping Stuff
Growing up my parents cooked everything using bacon grease. One secret recipe for cooking Venison was to use bacon grease for flavoring. Every morning the bacon was cooked first, then the eggs. Hot bacon grease was flipped up on top of the eggs to finish them, rather than "overeasy" style. When I first got my cholesterol checked, it was kinda high, so I suggested my parents get theirs checked. Mom's was 280; dad's was 375 Was bacon grease the cause? Maybe not. They also used lard for cooking...

Re: Beddys.com
We have the RV Superbag, and really like it. Sheets feel nice, and are easy to take out and wash. Although the manufacturer is not crazy about machine drying the actual bags, we've run them through our dryer at low heat, and taken them out when they were slightly damp and let them finish air drying. Absolutely no problem doing that.

Re: Advanced Elements Lagoon 2 inflatable recreational tandem kayak
We use the same double-action pump, but we start with a 12v pump ( link ). Inexpensive, hand-held pumps like these can be found in virtually any big box store with a sports or kids department, and quickly fill the kayak with low pressure, then we finish it off with the double-action pump. Saves your back! Another thing you'll want is a good repair kit to take along in the kayak, which you probably should put together yourself so it has all the items you need to make spot repairs should that...

Re: Advanced Elements Lagoon 2 inflatable recreational tandem kayak
Any inflatable will have the drying issue, regardless of brand. Like Brubie, I use the exact ele pump to provide most of the air then finish with a foot pump. I always take the pump and repair kit with me, as I think of it as a "spare tire" Those double-action hand pumps look sweet. Tempting....

Speaking of the pump, I removed 2 of the 4 adapters which don't serve a purpose with our particular kayak, seats, & front foot brace. They were just in the way taking up space & causing an annoyance.

Re: WeBoost (Wilson Electronics) Drive 4GM Cell Signal Booster
I just finish looking at all the pictures....nice use of the electrical box cover..... The cabin that I parked my camper at, and also rented a few times in the PA ANF had one in there left by a frequent renter.... would not do anything for my phone...but the owner of the cabin says it works for the guy who leaves it there.... I may steal that idea (box cover) for a XM antenna mount....
