We have used a queen size Travasak since the late 80s which I imagine is similar to a Bed Maid. Unfortunately, Travasak is out of business they are no longer available. The Travasak has a summer side and a winter side with real sheets inside attached with Velcro and are easily removable and washable. It's a no hassle way to make up the bed in the overhead bedroom of a truck camper. My wife hasn't struggled with bed making in a camper in nearly 30 years. Bill

Hi being new I was wondering if we could have a LOA get together further north? I don't want to be a bummer but driving 600 miles and staying 3 days seems crazy. There are many beautiful rv parks in northern Ca. there is Bodega Bay (the birds) and petaluma KOA near the wine country and 30 min from San Fransisco and Casini ranch on the russian river by Jenner and the rugged sonoma coastline. just a thought, I know there are plenty of Lance owners in northern CA. I am not knocking Pismo Beach...

I recently installed the AP Products Slimshade Door Windows on booth doors on my 2017 2185. Total install time was about 30 minutes for two windows. You will need some painters tape and a helper to hold the glass while you tighten the screws. I love the look of all tinted windows and being able to be able to see out of the doors adds an open feeling. The built in shade is great for privacy and keeping sunlight out. I purchased on Amazon for about $90 a piece. I highly recommend the windows.

The PC rally is open to anyone who is interested, regardless of ownership or type of RV or membership in any group. Some don't even have a camper. The Princess Craft owners just love TCs and thus the TC oriented rally. Last year, we ended up with about a dozen LOA members there. It is a party with lots of other brand and size campers there. One of the events is 'open house' afternoon where owners allow groups to view their mods and camper layouts. It's almost worth going just for that,...

Bad news came in the form of a jury summons today. U.S. District Court on March 22. It says I need to be available for 30 days so I am changing my status to a Maybe. I have never been selected for a jury but there is always a first time. This really goofs up our plans for our annual April Hill Country getaway. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Most courts will allow you to reschedule your time, as long as you aren't trying to get out of service.

Got my own Honda EU2000i generator today and my No Spill gas can and all the misc doodads,, It took abut 10 pulls on the first times to start the thing, but as of far, it's a great, super quiet genny, I put a magnetic dipstick in there to catch shavings, which are going to happen. I recently sold another type of small motor Honda that has been beat on, neglected, and abused in harsh environments for over 30 years! (Only about 10 years by me) I think I changed the oil 3 or 4 times in that 10 years. Bike didn't cost me much, and I just wanted to ride. Found out when I was selling it that I had cracked the frame (1985 Suspension technology ain't what it is today) but that motor simply will... not... die. Yeah, I think you'll get your money's worth out of your Honda.
