Re: Genius Clear Water Systems (Out of Business...)
Thanks for the heads up! Looking into this. The Clear-Genius link is a different product: an alternative refillable Brita/etc. pitcher-style cartridge. Based in Missouri, afaik so far... Not finding Genius Clear Water RV or House systems on the gloggles, yet... UPDATE 9/8/16: Appears to be out of business!!

Re: 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering
Earthwatcher - Location of the event is included in the discussion thread and can also be found at http://outdoornebraska.gov/ponca/ which is the site I used to reserve my spot. It looks like there are quite a few nice camp grounds along the Missouri River that I also searched on. I suspect I'll be headed back again to this general area for additional discoveries. Re: 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering
NEW INFORMATION: The 1st Annual Great Plains Gathering will meet in the Oak Bluff Campground at Ponca State Park in northeast Nebraska. The sites are relatively close together, so we will be able to go between them easily. I will try to figure out how to insert a link to Reserve America to make it easy to reserve a site, but in the mean...

Fiberglass repair
Disclosure: I have no connection with the company referenced below other than being fascinated by what they do. I no longer am much impressed with politicians, sports stars, CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, etc. My heroes are people who can actually do stuff - make things or repair things. Earlier today I got to meet the owner/operator and see some of the work at Big Boys Fiberglass Repair, Camdenton, Mo. There are likely others in the business just as good, but to say I was impressed is a large...

Re: New Camping “Essential”: Bluetti AC180 Power Station
A couple more application examples: I used our Bluetti AC180 to recharge our eBike batteries (AC cord plugged in on the right) while boondocking at Fat Point 2024 last February. The Bluetti was recharged from solar via the high-current DC posts on the side of our 855s TC (DC cord on the left): I used our Bluetti last month to power our new StarLink terminal (and wirelessly charge my iPhone) while camping at Lewis and Clark State Park in western Missouri. I had shore power available, but part...
