Re: Midland Weather Alert Radio

DandV ·
So...I finished programming the 120EZ. I tuned it to El Paso County, Colorado, where we live. I set it to give warnings for high winds, violent storms, tornadoes, flash floods, fires, and wild fires since we get plenty of those. I turned off the alerts for coastal storms, hurricanes, and coastal tide warnings since I haven't seen many of those in Colorado. I opted for the three minute voice warning, which is preceded by 8 seconds of alert tone. Doug is right, the alert tone is rather loud. I...

Chemical Guys - TORQ Foam Cannon & Honeydew Snow Foam Wash

HavaBrew22 ·
How It Works: Professional detailers and hardcore enthusiasts wash dirt from cars as gently as possible. The wrong touch pushes dirt around and grinds ugly scratches and swirls into the shiny finish. The TORQ Professional Foam Cannon Snow Foamer adds a blanket of super-slick and slippery car wash suds to lubricate any abrasive dirt particles. Don I wonder if they will tell you what went wrong. Well I know ours is different, we have an onboard compressor, I like to run it once in awhile to keep the air pressure up and mechanically have things working. I don't know but I like getting all my mechanical...

Re: Good Sam RV GPS

DandV ·
Last month we used our Good Sam/Rand McNally GPS for a cross-country trek - Colorado to Georgia, and return. Unfortunately, we were traveling without the TT (staying with family). The GPS worked like a charm. The main criticism I have is the speed limit it displays is often not accurate with the locally posted speed limit. This is not just occasionally, but a regular occurrence. I'm not sure why it's this way. In all other respects, we're really happy with the GPS. Don

Re: Adco tyvek cover review

Snow removal and ADCO.... Finishing our fourth winter with the Adco cover--mostly intact. This winter CO has had great snow (great for water in summer and skiing now) but necessary to remove snow from the TT. I used a shovel the first time and managed to tear the cover a bit--will get a repair kit/tape--thanks Grumpa. Now use a garage squeegee with its rubber end to remove the snow and successfully leave the cover intact. For the price, the cover has done well. Only use it in the winters so...
