Re: Bed-Maid Sleeping Set

We have used a queen size Travasak since the late 80s which I imagine is similar to a Bed Maid. Unfortunately, Travasak is out of business they are no longer available. The Travasak has a summer side and a winter side with real sheets inside attached with Velcro and are easily removable and washable. It's a no hassle way to make up the bed in the overhead bedroom of a truck camper. My wife hasn't struggled with bed making in a camper in nearly 30 years. Bill

We just won a BedMaid at the RITV. It's great. We were struggling to keep our comforter on the bed but now the Bed Maid stays in place. I'm going to make up a second set of sheets for it. Thank you. Thank you Rally in the Valley 2015!

Bed-Maid Sleeping Set

B&L 1685 ·
Hi All,In case anyone is wondering, we absolutely love the Bed-Maid Sleeping Set.  We had a difficult time finding any information on it, and no one seemed to be promoting it when we bought our 1685 in February.  My husband was really...

I just found a website that I want to share with everyone - it is Beddys.com. They sell bedding that is like Lance's "The Bed Maid" but comes in different colors! If you are interested, check it out. It makes making your bed a breeze!

They don't sell sheets. Beddy's is one piece, but better. The sheet is sewn into it (unlike Lance's Bed Maid). Watch the video called "Discover Beddy's. Beddy's even has a lower part that goes around the mattress like a fitted sheet (unlike Lance's Bed Maid).

Viv & I are currently using the Bed-maid with a ho-hum feeling towards the quality. The supplied sheets are too coarse (low thread count) and the comforter hasn't held up well. I have since acquiring the Bed-maid learned of a much better system, albeit, more expensive. They have different comforters that come in a variety of colors and also have three different thread count sheets with the best one at 750. We are giving this serious thought. ...

We have the RV Superbag, and really like it. Sheets feel nice, and are easy to take out and wash. Although the manufacturer is not crazy about machine drying the actual bags, we've run them through our dryer at low heat, and taken them out when they were slightly damp and let them finish air drying. Absolutely no problem doing that.

Re: 2013 Lance 2385

Our 1885 is listed as a 2014, but was built in 2013. Our slide very likely is the same as your 2385. What are you needing to know? We did have to have the slide bolted into the wall as it had an issue with the frame pulling away from the outer wall. We did lighten the load in the drawers to less than 50 lbs each, which is what Lance recommends, this includes the outer storage area. Otherwise, we haven't had problems with it. Attached is Lance's 2013 brochure that may give you some info.
