Wow, we are the little rally that could like the little train... I think I can, I think I can and now look where we are! Awesome! Is it time to start a conversation on a a schedule and suggestions on communal meals? There was a conversation on a breakfast but not sure what else has been discussed. if we have some suggestions, I will put together an itinerary to post in a common area. Friday afternoon/evening everyone will be arriving and setting up so an easy potluck of food and beverages...

Attached is a YouTube link showing each individual campsites at LaPine State Park. Since the video starts with the cabins and sites 1,2, 3...., you may want to fast forward approx. 6 min. into the video to get to site 60 or so. There is no sound associated with this video. Hello, my wife and I just bought a 2011 Lance 1985 after about a 2 year search. We are happy, but a little overwhelmed. I do not want to do anything wrong. We live in Damascus, Oregon Would anyone with a wealth of knowledge on this TT be interested in walking us through all the systems. I am not an idiot, but I want to take very good care of it. FYI: I met with Ron today. Their new to them 2011 1985 is in great shape. We went over some basics operational items. A lot of the questions brought back memories of when I was a new owner. I have offered to go camping with them (aka: a really small LOA gathering). :-) And......of course I showed him where the low point drains were located....as that was one of my first questions when joining the forum. LOL We had a great time and look forward to meeting up with Ron in the near future.

Oh NO!! The date will not work for us, we have High School Graduation that week and will not be able to attend. That is a beautiful park, we stay there often (went there right after the first of the year) and I know you will all enjoy your stay. Rob! We gave one away at RITV 3. Joe they work very well and a number of my Lance friends have installed them. One installed one in his 2285 with a 15k btu and runs it with a Honda 2000i. If caught in a hot area, we find an RV park with hookups! Happy Campers BobnRobin

I arrived in Mesa a bit after 1pm. When I hooked up to electricity, everything is working great - except the refrigerator. I've run some checks with the help of Rick at Lance Service and it looks like I have a circuit board failure. I phoned Tom's Camperland and they will not work on a unit that wasn't sold by them! Bad on Tom's Camperland!!!! And Camping World would have to order the part - a three week wait! Looks like I'll be heading back to Yuma tomorrow morning. If anybody wants to come...

Wow, sorry to hear that... I'm surprised about Tom's, we have been going there for years and they always take care of us. I would think warranty work no matter where the rig came from would not be an issue! I'll have to find out what their policy is. Donna and I had a great time, even though we had to leave early. Was glad we got to meet everyone. Hope to see everyone in the near future. Got the trailer back from Tom's today, repaired Frig. It required a new controller board (normally takes two weeks if order (but they took one from another unit). They also had to replace the CO/Gas detector (it kept alarming). The Generator did not work any better back here in the valley, so I used the Costco liberal return policy and got a full refund.

I was excited to see the announcement for the rally and signed up for it. We attended the LOA rally and factory tour last Sept. in California and really enjoyed that so thought we would give this one a try. We are in site E127.

We just bought a 1475 and live about ten miles from the meetup. However, Dawn and I both work and wouldn't be able to tow our camper there on time. Would we be able to hit the place in our truck (minus the camper) after work either day? We'd really like to meet some of the folks here and have the opportunity to learn a bit more.

BBD, they don't have to screw to the roof. When I did mine I made aluminum angle brackets and attached them to the vertical section of the fan housing. It's a bit more work but do able!
